Hi thanks for watching.
There is a spot under the head where you can find a lock-screw. You have to losen that before you lock the pan axis and twist the head off. Hope that helps.

This tripod looks ideal in many ways, it has the same option as the Sirui for getting right down to ground level which for wildlife film-making is so useful. I just don't know if I can put my cinema rig on tripod legs that screw?!
