Perhaps the best part of it was when we were contemplating swapping in another mini or tweaking our strategy, and your son said “I just think you have to play better”. 😂 I did agree with that and then we had two back-to-back absolutely catastrophic tries, where we basically threw one try each. 🙈 Directly followed by the kill. 🥳
Grats on completing the raid, OG! I’m hoping they don’t alter the map to prevent meat wagon from hitting Ragnaros from the bottom of the lava pool. That made this encounter so much more doable.

Jaina/Drakk combo is best in my opinion. Jaina destroy Rag in overtime with spells and whelps, also not hard to deffend, and buffed execute is very op for sons of flame and Rag, with high lvl execute kinda 1 shot sons of flame.
Also, its common for us to place every mini on the same spot, but the wagon should be the only unit on the top left, as adding more mini to the spot might make them pushing the wagons as we see drakk do on the first 2
Very clean kill. I was hoping for a secret strategy, though! Control the gold, control the towers, don't push phase 3 before overtime. I'm also not sure if double Drak is best here, but most people have a strong Drak because of Onyxia, and this works well.
Drakkisath was where we had put the boost slots for Onyxia and we needed the levels.
Emperor Thaurissan works quite well with the wagons, extra burn dps and 2 extra levels with the talent. Me and a guildmate managed to scrape a win with 1 second left as a combined average level of 23
Amazing guide. We finally did it with this tips and tricks.. Anyway, what is the final reward next time? It will be 10 copies of ragnaros similar when combining pvp and guild reward of new minis?
The repeat reward is 500 coins.
@Old Guardian is it necessary for frostwolf shaman to have earthshield talent? or is the heal tower talent better to have? since most of rag minis are elemental dmg? aside from molten giant and tower
A correction regarding DIM vs executus. Executus doesn't handle popping whelp eggs very well. If you put some ontop of him, he will try in vain to pop them until something else does it for him, and in the mean time you can send DIM to mine whatever you want.
If you loose a tower while Ragnaros is submerged during phase 2, does he still send a lava wave down the opposite side of the map?
Yes, lava waves also appear while Ragnaros is submerged.
Will you be returning to finish up the heroic guides?
Yes, as soon as I have time.
The raids do return right? I think they do but im just rtrying to confirm.
Yes, the rotation should be Molten Core -> Blingtron -> Siege of Stormwind -> Darkmoon Faire, as far as I know.

My experience in this raid is quite good, the dev did really well, all boss are medium-hard and can be claim by F2P pretty easy
