バンカリング時における2船体周りの風場観測試験

Title : Wind Field Observation Tests Around Two Vessels During LNG Bunkering Operation
Side-by-Side（横付け）係船を想定した自動車運搬船とバンカー船（燃料補給船）を対象として、LNGバンカリング（LNG燃料の補給）中の2船体まわりの風場観測試験を実施しました。
2船の載荷状態や距離、風向をパラメータとして、微小なバブルをトレーサーに用いて上部から高速度カメラにて撮影しています。後処理としてPIV解析を行うことで、2船体まわりの風速分布や渦度分布を取得しました。別途実施した風荷重計測試験の結果と合わせて、バンカリング中の2船体に働く風荷重に及ぼす相互干渉影響について研究を行っています。なお、本試験は令和4年3月30日に一般公開しました。

"We conducted wind field observation tests around two vessels during LNG bunkering (LNG refueling) operation, targeting a pure car carrier (PCC) and a bunker ship moored by side-by-side configuration. Considering parameters such as the loading condition of the two vessels, the distance between them, and wind direction, we captured microbubbles used as tracers by an above high-speed camera. We obtained the wind speed distribution and vorticity distribution around the two vessels by PIV analysis as post-processing. Combined with the results of wind load measurement tests, we investigate the mutual interference effects on wind loads acting on the two vessels during LNG bunkering operation."
