People need to lead lives of accountability. Neither of these people were doing that and this is how it end up. She left the child with grandparents for a year and went and was away from the child (and maybe that was best). She says she works nowhere and yet the child living in an unclean ‘house’ that is not cared for by this supposed ‘housewife.’ She got instructions on how to apply for the food card and because the treatment wasn’t good she didn’t go back to seek her and her child’s interest. He says he try all how and no concrete steps are outlined, no agency named! This does not seem like someone who was dogged in the pursuit of his child’s interest -there are supervised visits if you go through the process. The only contribution he mentioned attempting to make was actually one from his mother. But everyone else get blamed down to the blasted PTA who has no legal power or right to intercede in your domestic issues. They could literally get into a world of trouble for doing what he asked. I only watched this because it is instructive and I hope we all take a lesson from combination of entitlement and passivity and poverty. It breaks my heart to see how little hope this child had with these two and then that blasted demon. The only innocent victim is the child. But we are here too as single mothers, pleading with the courts to make the fathers play a role and be part of their children's lives, we actually have to beg and plead for them to buy a bottle water, or fries, for the children, imagine the agony and pain we have to endure because of fathers refusing to purchase basic necessities and just to spend time with his children, no school supplies, no food stuff,snacks, clothes, allowance, lessons, no trips like mall or beach, nothing.....I am proud to say that I have done it all for my children, by my self, working 5 jobs to send them to school, take them out, lessons, tertiary level education....and still nothing from the dad.....

I only watched this because it is instructive and I hope we all take a lesson from combination of entitlement and passivity and poverty. Kudos to the father for reaching out to the authorities to see and do for his daughter. But we are here too as single mothers, pleading with the courts to make the fathers play a role and be part of their children's lives, we actually have to beg and plead for them to buy a bottle water, or fries, for the children, imagine the agony and pain we have to endure because of fathers refusing to purchase basic necessities and just to spend time with his children, no school supplies, no food stuff,snacks, clothes, allowance, lessons, no trips like mall or beach, nothing.....I am proud to say that I have done it all for my children, by my self, working 5 jobs to send them to school, take them out, lessons, tertiary level education....and still nothing from the dad.....
