Awesome concept! Although as much as seeing a rookie learning is entertaining, how can you review it without showing its full potential with someone more skilled?
This is actually pretty cool. I look at this as just the beginning though. I love the concept although for safety reasons I can't seed this being no more than an inner city commuter. Would be really cool to commute around a college campus too.

It would be nice if the body of the bike was a little longer, so you didn't have to sit to up vertically. The silhouette of the person riding it looks a bit silly because of that. I like the idea though.

The Ryno is less flashy then The Uno in my opinion, which is good if you wanna reduce the amount of people taking pictures of you on it. plus the position you have to sit on the Uno looks really uncomfortable

Hey, like a lot of things that first come out, it can (hopefully) only get faster (yeah, definitely get it up to 30-35mph!), lighter, more intuitive, and v-e-r-y much cheaper.
Well, I want one either way, even if I have to wait a while ;-) Bring it down to under $1,500 and I'll start seriously browsing their catalogue hehe
Put it up for sale (even on a limited basis) and see. The worst that could happen is that you'd get some of your investment back. Judging by the comments I've seen there'd be at least a fair amount of ready customers.

I'd love a go of it. If it rides like a Segway though its no where near as intuitive as a motorbike. Segways are a bastard to ride - they are fun though :)
How is this more intuitive than a bike, if you can't learn to turn it within 20 minutes?
its a neat little toy and would probably sell a lot better if it was in the 1300 price range...but that little thing is not worth 5000, especially at a 10mph max speed limit

I was like I'm going to get this when i have the money, then he said "top speed of 10mph and range of ten miles". What's the point of it then? Get speed up to 100mph and 100 miles then I'll buy two.

you say it's easier to ride than a motorcycle, yet you couldn't learn how to turn...
I assume it's easy to just sit down and lean forward because of the gyro and in-built computers, but turning probably takes a lot of guts (you have to completely trust the tech) if not skill.
Very interesting innovation, Looks amazing but Not practical (in my opinion)

I don't think it's going to go to far.
Considering there's plenty of electric unicycles on the market now, and cheaper if you buy a chinese knock-off, he really needs to turn the Ryno into a faster version. The airwheel is faster than this thing. Fuck safety. If he developed a lighter and faster model, not only would he corner a market, he could damn well invent a new motorsport. Guess he's too scared to get into the motorcycle industry though, and wants to keep it as just a commuter. Boring.

It's an idea/concept that came to me 15 years ago and incredibly, no one has eclipsed it yet! The beauty of this is that it's so simple, but I cannot tell anyone till the prototype is finished. Sorry.
