As a Canadian descendant of a Trini mother near Mr. Bat's age I am tremendously grateful for the opportunity to witness the documentation and preservation of a culture and a way of living that is slowly being lost in this modern age.
Mr. Baptiste, as a storyteller you are to be commended and complimented for presenting Mr. Bat, his lifestyle and the beauty of natural livity, so rarely appreciated.
Through your lens you successfully managed to forge a relationship between the viewer and this iconic man with such reverence that a complete stranger could feel like not so distant family.

Lyndon, through you, myself along with so many other people have become invested in Mr.Bat and Mr.Harry. It’s absolutely wonderful how you document these gentlemen. I don’t even actually know Mr.Bat and I feel a sense of loss, so I could imagine how you feel. The lord have placed you both together for this stage of your lives to enrich one another. Accept my condolences and keep strong for yours and his. He and harden are back together again!

In the short space of time that these videos were made, I must admit that listening to both Mr. Harry and Mr. Bat. great wisdom and teachings were imparted. They seemed so comfortable and adjusted to the life of the rich Caura Valley and farming the land....the joys of making the cutlass.....the setting of the seeds and the reaping of the crops...from sada roti to wine making........truly a heartbreak to have lost Mr. Bat.....keep up the good work in his name Mr. Baptiste.

My husband and I always looked forward to your videos especially with Mr. Bat and Mr. Harry. My husband is a self proclaimed Trini bushman although he long resides here in America. When I saw the Legend video last night I wondered, why?Then tonight I see the goodbye to Mr. Bat video and I wanted to run upstairs and wake my husband. So sad. He will be missed by us all.
