I'm 36 and have felt so lost for so long due to some things in my life. But after my life crumbled before my eyes these past few years I wanna start something for myself and I know I'm talented and put on this earth to share my talents with the world to make it a better place.
You absolutely are talented and you are meant to share your talents and gifts with the world! I just posted a video about this on my other channel called makelifemedicine 😉
I agree. I only have the energy to do 1 full time job. After that I'm exhausted. I sleep a lot. I do laundry and that stuff on the weekend because I'm too tired on work days. People talk about working a full time job while starting their own business and also finding time to go to the gym. I'm like, what planet are they from? My only way to save money is to live cheap, not getting a second job. Because I'm low energy. My only way to lose weight is to eat less food, not going to the gym. Because I'm low energy. I'm low energy. Not by choice. I simply just am. So anything I do must adapt to that fact.
I got fired for making UA-cam videos at work. So now i'm all in on this adventure. Here are my personal notes from Denmo's video. 3:09 - Staying busy changes your perspective on how precious time is 4:55 - Enjoy the process 9:08 - Don't quit your job too early 10:34 - 10hrs vs 4hrs 14:08 - Don't neglect your relationships 17:30 - UA-cam University 19:46 - I can relate to this for sure...smh 🤦🏾♂ 22:08 - Everything ain't for everybody 22:33 - Denmo, I think you're an ENFP like me. Consider looking into the cognitive functions of an ENFP by CS Joseph here on UA-cam 24:29 - Cons. of not having a job in years 26:15 - Facts lol. I delivered at Fedex for 5yrs. It was fun to be outside and interact with people all day lol 28:05 - Don't be too hard on yourself
Just work trades or warehouse, live below your means and move abroad to Russia or South East Asia buy property there and rent it out, just fucking lol at living in the West for anything other than making money... Life's a scam so you gotta play smart and scam life yourself more than it scams you
Im 29. Got laid off from an awesome senior lead logistics speacilist position in the cannabis industry in september. Been leveling the fuck up since and been proud of myself for it. Currently upgrading my math skills so i can get into the trades via an electrician apprenticeship program. Im also working on renovating my sisters new home in hamilton so her, her partner and new born baby can move in as stress free as possible. Im currently 20 days sober from cannabis and i aint got anyone else in my life making a career change or personal growth transition like i am right now so its felt like a lonely road. That point you made about going to a rock show on your own cause you want it or going to a country concert with your friends hit hard. I look forward to meeting other like minded people who are grinding to level up. If your reading this and your going through it-give yourself props for being courageous enough to make it happen than go make it fuckin happen. Muxh love world ❤
Opportunities are unequally distributed. dont feel down If you dont have what someone else does, some peoples effort genuinely doesn't garner any results, just the world today making peace with it is the hard part for most men.
21 atm and i thought i was doing pretty good for the past few years, made a lot of money and was still young but life kicked me hard, i went from being in college and working a part tim, to working two jobs, to now looking for just a single job and homeless life really can change unexpectedly randomly, i have the confidence and drive to make it back on my feet but I'm just tired already and i get told that my life has barely begun😒
The car rides are cool bro. I'm in my 40s so a bit older than your target. I've been self employed for most my life (doing photography) and I've struggled to do something new. A lot is complacency and laziness because I just can't seem to find something to be passionate about. But I keep trying new things...and failing. I'm trying a different approach this time and rather than starting completely from scratch I'm going to try to manipulate my current business which I have experience in, to something new. I got a cool new drone and have been practicing with it and maybe I'll be able to do some creative stuff with airbnbs or something that will allow me to travel and make money. We'll see. Thanks for the constant motivation.
Really enjoyed this video, helped me get a good perspective of who you are and your journey to get here. Definitely gonna join the school, just trying to figure out when's the best time! (Currently doing a business/solopreneur course, finishing a masters, running my own private practice and working part time in a school... not a lot of time rn!)
1. The more responsibilities you take on, the more productive you get with your time 2. If you don't feel like sleeping at night time, it means you didn't exert enough energy during the day; you are capable of doing much more.
denmo i love your videos man! super helpful and great content. quick technical advice might benefit you and listeners - if you turn down the gain/level on your microphone, you won’t have the clipping/crunchy audio when you get loud. then in post, you can level it out to a nice level you’re happy with. LMK if you want help with this, im an audio engineer. but i’m sure you’ll be able to get it 💪🏽 keep up the fantastic videos!
Hey bro I’m sure your a busy guy but I just want to say that it would be awesome if you put these videos in podcast form on Spotify. I usually stay off of UA-cam because it’s always been the most addicting app for me but you’re still one of my favorite UA-camrs and I’d like to listen to your videos despite not being on UA-cam much. I’m not asking you to cater to me but I’m just saying it would be dope. God bless.
Denmo. You are spot on with having a certain personality to be self employed. I just made it to my sixth year being self employed. Hated working for someone else. Hated it! And you are so right about childhood being a factor in it too. I'm super successful now. But even if I was only making like 50k a year on my own, to me that's worth more making 150k working for someone else.
I’m at a place where I have been in manufacturing for 15 years. In the past two years I got into 3d printing and laser cutting/engraving on my own. I’m just now starting to get work on the side after promoting myself to everyone around me and utilizing my skill set. My goal is to build something and work/collaborate with others on products.
Great video bro. Socializer really changed so much for me on a personal level and yeah, i totally agree, I've gotten way too comfortable with the salary job lifestyle when i know I'm capable of so much more
Man I lost my part time job recently and now I’m looking for it again life’s been shit 20 turning 21 in 4 months. I need to make money to do other things!
Comfort is the biggest killer of most people’s dreams and goals. Which is why people who face and go through adversity are more likely to become successful than the ones who live an easy life
The tricky thing is actually making content that benefits oneself as well as humanity, makind, the environment as well as animals/creatures and still garners attention by the app and generates lucrative income, instead of content that is pushed and makes income but actually overall worsens the world
So I may not have a choice with keeping my job within the near future. I have a decent amount of money saved up, enough to last me a year. In this scenario, would you recommend trying to find another dayjob asap, or buckle down and try and start a business from scratch? Edit: your concert analogy explains it all. Under normal circumstances, I would never goto a concert where I don't care about the music. Thanks for at least helping me realize that I don't have another option other than entrepreneurship.
Hi! You remind me of a young Eric Clapton? Looks-wise? Anyway! Thanks for sharing! I wanna work for myself! I got plans cooking right now to take a year off, beginning this summer
Same man, same, I worked in vegan restaurant for a while, I made sogshit nothing money but I was constantly socializing but also dreaming about job with home office now i work that job for years but always think about that restaurant job cause this is lonely, I dont meet any new people like at all

I suppose someone has to do it. 5:58 You brutally murdered loads of baby chicks today...again....maybe do something different, something that creates better mental karma....then you could sleep a little better lol If nobody decided to eat meat or kill it again. I wouldn't care. But this world makes us do mental shitt to survive... Great advice video man! I am just joshing bro. I have a lot of respect for you.
I think I would feel even more isolated from society than I do now sitting in a cubicle all day if I somehow found a way to work for myself and make money online.
