I think Rudy and trump belong in jail with cells right next to each other. So they will be in another kind of punishment so they have to hear each others endless rambling.

This election is about how entitlement and privilege play out in the future. Republicans have been paving this road to Minority Rule since the inception of gerrymandering, and for decades have sought charismatic racist idiots to normalize the process. They're terrified of birth rates, and the corner they've painted themselves into.
Giuliani should live behind bars for a while.
He was indifferent to the harm he inflicted on his victims so he deserves no mercy. I really hope that this is the end of this circus.
He should lose EVERYTHING, including the socks on his feet, especially after he refused to comply with discovery. He should already be in prison.

It has to be said that a legal system that can be jerked around by people like this is seriously broken. This man should have been put in jail years ago but in the US, if you have enough money to do it, you can delay and deflect justice indefinitely.
If he needs a place to stay, I imagine if he were to come clean about his and Trump's crimes, I bet we'll be willing to provide 3 meals and a cot.
That would be an awesome sight. Imagine Rudy coming home to one of his condos in the middle of the night, drunk and discovered that his house has been padlocked and is forced to sleep out in the street.

So, to summarise, more legal delays, nothing has happened other than lawyers earning fees, the plaintiffs have nothing at all.
What guys like Rudy and Donald are proving beyond any and all reasonable doubt is this: if you have the money, you can grind the legal system to a halt. I still say this is a legal system problem and not a Guiliani problem.
The judge has discretion. He should give Rudy 10 days to submit all the documents and comply 100% with all the requests the court has made. If he doesn't they should give him no protection. He should be living in a trailer until he pays off all the money plus interest.
These are the kinds of hail Mary, legal arguments that make people hate lawyers. A lot of times judges will give them leeway to paper the case and make a record--no matter how lame their arguments are. I suspect, though, that the Court won't let Guiliani do this because he is not litigating against large organizations. He beat up on two actual people and ruined their lives, so now it's time for his life to be ruined. I also suspect that the Plaintiffs' attorneys have personal feelings at nailing this scumbag to the wall in the interest of the ever-elusive justice. Sometimes, you do get to achieve some manner of justice in the justice system.

The court may have discretion to choose not to enforce a judgement, but if you have a reputation for not cooperating with the court, why shoudl thr judge give you leniency

Watching it though, I couldn't help thinking how utterly bizarre the whole thing is - not just Guiliani but all the legal cases arising from the Trump presidency. Whether it's cause or effect of a lack of confidence in political institutions and democracy itself, the fact is that we seem to have somehow normalised what is a surreal situation and seemingly are no longer shocked.
This is not of course an original observation but this video just reminded me.
