Wish I could get my set up that low without buzzing. Still not completely clear on how a dual action truss rod works. Right tight left loose until it then imparts back bow??? Does it affect the entire fretboard or only a section??? Or… do I need to shave the saddle??? Help.
@@halblanchette2444 Hello Hal, the factory setup of neck relief can be adjusted depending on the playing style. For softer playing style, set neck relief to 0.1-0.2 mm. For heavy playing style, set neck relief to 0.3 to 0.4 mm.
Neck relief is adjusted by turning the truss rod using the provided Allen wrench. The neck must never be adjusted to have a convex shape (hump). The shape of the neck must remain concave and retain a forward bow, which is either increased or reduced. To reduce the bow, insert the Allen wrench No. 4 into the truss rod and gently turn the wrench in the clockwise direction by approximately 1/4 of a turn. To increase the concave bow, turn the wrench counterclockwise by approximately 1/4 of a turn. If you have any doubts, we recommend you to visit our authorized dealer to help you!
@@FurchGuitarsOfficial can you please tell me the secret to remove the end pin mechanism? I have two Furch guitars and once I remove the end pin screw the metal insert stays in the jack hole and won’t budge. Help. What do I do???? Tips? Push out from the inside? Push from the outside toward the inside? I’m afraid to mar the finish
@@halblanchette2444 Hello Hal! A) If you completely unscrewed the screw and the rear nut fell out, it will be better to push the plug inwards. But first, you have to release it by wobbling it as it features grooves, which hold the plug in the hole. B) If you just loosen the screw and didn't take it out, then hold it, wobbling it and pull it out. Greetings!

Very nice. I am bit skeptical about "a resonance enhancing finish" however. It's a bit like saying a racing stripe makes a car go faster.
Hello, allow me to elaborate. We designed this finish to not only protect the wood of our guitars, but most importantly to improve its acoustic properties. How? The finish is comprised of ultra-thin and consistent layers that don’t absorb the wood's resonance as standard finishes do, on the contrary, they maximize it. @@peachmelba1000 Great question! The guitar’s properties may change due to temperature, humidity and many other factors. This can cause potential problems also with the finish. To avoid these problems, Petr Furch designed this finish to be consistent and also flexible. That means it can adapt to guitar changes and avoid the potential premature checking.
Dobrý deň! Pán Furch nerozmýšlal niekedy nad gitarou velkosti "junior"? Niečo pre deti a hráčov s malými krátkymi prstami? Niečo s menzúrou medzi 607mm až 613mm? Mám veľmi malé ruky, krátke prsty a dĺžka 650mm je mi fakt moc veľká. Inak by som si veľmi rád kúpil gitaru značky Furch aj za 2000€. Jasne, že viem hrať aj na týchto "velkých", ale len na obyčajné akordy viem dosiahnuť. Už cez 4-5 pražcov to nedám nijako. Teda dám, ale nie je mi to pohodlné. Nedokážem rýchlo prehodiť prsty.
