I've watched this multiple times just for the "LOOKIGOTANACHIEVEMENT" part.
As soon as he said "This is gonna take forever" the video froze. I thought they were actually sitting there for a while not talking... then I noticed that the video wasn't loaded XD

Fun fact: Money marked in red is automatically collected after it drops, it's money that robots drop that were killed an exploding headshot. Another reason why snipers are good in mvm.

And that's really nice actually, means I don't have to bother scouts with the sniper money drops from the snipahbots.

I actually really loved this update. Great new maps, and great new stuff for Medic. I have no idea why your game was glitching so much, it hardy did that for me. Server specific stuff perhaps? Anyway, I don't understand why so many people are hating on this update.

Some explanations:
Fake Moni: When a Sniper kills a robot, the money it drops gives off red $s. This is so if you headshot some robot really far out into the field, you don't have to run all the way out to get it. The 3 money piles you picked up were red.
Canteen: That was the Special Attack you bound, which is the key you press to change the types on the (old) Vaccinator and how you create the force field. You need to bind your Use Item in Action Slot to a key to use the Canteen.
And nobody mentions the fact that the link in the description to Auzzie is Walmart

Huh. I don't understand. I played it, like, the second the update was released, and everything worked fine. I encountered none of the glitches that you did. In fact, I was anticipating the title "Everything Works" to be a surprised and condescending praise for Valve releasing a perfect patch. Why do things work for me and not you guys?
Right after the update was released, it had game breaking bugs (such as the upgrades one). About 20 minutes after the update (the end of the video) valve restarted ALL the MVM servers to fix the bugs :P
Pretty much everything they mentioned in the video was happening to me and all the people I was playing with as well. Moved any points I put on Scout's resistances into jump height (because scout can't jump very high obviously.)
Worked fine for me too but, I noticed a lot of people that were using custom sounds and a custom HUD were having trouble. Maybe those things need to updated as well to be compatible with the 2 Cities update. That's just my guess though, but seeing how just about everyone with custom things were/are having trouble and I'm not (I don't have any custom HUDs or sounds) maybe that could be the case.

I can't even play... the moment the update was released i lost access to the item server and i can't contact servers at all. I really wanted to play this update... I can't describe how much i want an australium sniper rifle

I'm not sure what's the rant on with the crashes you guys. I have lots of stuff in my Custom folder and I run a server off the same machine. Nothing bad. Everything works fine, even my custom HUD works. Valve, I love you for this update. 0% bugs.

Guys, if your game keeps crashing because you have a custom hud on, delete these files in your custom hud: MvMScoreboard.res and WaveCompleteSummaryPanel.res then it should stop crashing.

Yeah, screw trying to find a game through that CO-OP mode option. Just open the servers window and search "MvM", organizing by player-count. Look for one with 3-5 players and join.

star, the "red" money is omney from headshoots. headshots automaticly collect money, but still drop red pile. this is just for scouts, so they can still get the health.
I'm with people here: Valve gets a lot of money out of tf2, so they should get their shit together and test things before they release them. Servers Crashs, ok. That's something you "sometimes" can't prevent when EVERYONE plays this new MvM Update, but for christ's sake, the upgrades are broken, the canteens are broken, so wtf? People pay for Mann up Tickets to play this mode after all. So testing it would be a lot better than releasing a buggy update and make the community experience the broken hell instead.
People say it's working now, 2 hours after the update, so calm down Marisa :D

Quick tip for the new update. Don't use mann up mode, just play through a full Manhattan mission and you will be rewarded with the finding of a killer exclusive. It worked for me anyway.

Pretty glad I decided to play some Snakewater instead of MvM. I was never impressed by it before, but after today it might become one of the few 5 CP maps that I actually enjoy.
considering this version had the 2nd forward spawn move from kitchen back to outside saw room made the map more playable.

A lot of things were patched. I played a match and upgrades worked fine. I'm fact, the only strange thing was that when I pressed F to examine a teammate's items it showed me the upgrade menu. Although, I could not buy anything through that glitch.

When a sniper headshots a robot, the money will instead emit red particles instead of the usual green, however, this has an added bonus, red coded money will be collected at the end of the wave, regardless if its picked up or not, even if it explodes, the money will be added to the wave end cash

Can't join TF2? Here's a solution how to fix it!
1. Goto C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\custom
2. And delete every custom thing you have installed there.
3. Launch TF2 and it should work, and now we'll need to wait till Valve will fix that and then we'll be able to use Custom HUDS etc...
u just need to delete huds .. others u don't need to delete
It now works to your joy! However there are still minor (and if you want an achievement: major) glitches such as money getting stuck in impassable places (i.e the ledge on mvm_manhatten and the ability to jump behind the gate in mvm_rottenburg

Valve quickly fixed the upgrades now purchasing correctly thats why the server crashed at the end.
At least the Baby Face Blaster is pretty slick now. You can jump again!
MvM is thee most infuriating game mode, first you have to find a competent team, then you have to deal with all of Valve's broken bullshit, and hope that you possibly get something worth your troubles. I know people who have done 22 tours and never gotten Australium or Professional Kill-streaks.
Maybe because Australium weapons are, RARE?
Also, this video was made the day it came out. And like nearly ANY update in ANY game, there are bugs right after release

Sinchu9 People just do give people chances, I was in Tour of Duty and we won the final wave with a SNIPER. Spies are underestimated all because of their health and stuff. I hate those people who would just kick someone for making a simple mistake. BTW, my friend just lost ONE WAVE and people already started to rage. >:(

since this update ive never seen all the MvM servers filled ive been struggling to join any servers lately because of how popular this update has been so valve must have really outdone itself im impressed as well
My TF2 doesn't even start up.
It's next to impossible to actually finish a mission.

I know that the TF2 team at Valve is pretty small, and I know the game is free and still getting updates.
But seriously, Valve needs to cut this shit out. They make enough money from this game that broken updates should not be an issue. I don't know if it's Steam's lax update policies that give Valve the impression that it's ok to just keep throwing patches on a game until it works. Or if they're just too busy adding new hats into the game to care. But they need to test these updates before they release them.
For god's sake, they have TF2 Beta and never use it because they're too concerned about keeping things secret.

One of the downsides of Valve having the company structure that they do is sometimes the updates they release don't get the attention that they need by the time they need to release it. I mean there's a lot of upsides too but it's not a perfect company model.

It's quite funny since I was on a private server with these maps and I didn't have any issues with the map, the upgrades, and all of the other junk that a lot of people are complaining about.

What happened to me the other day was amazing. When you complete the mission, there are three categories in the final "ceremony" of which your items are given. Mann up, Squad Surplus, and Tour Completion. When I completed a tour, and the boxes were exploding with my items in the "Tour Completion" section, there was one big box the went "Boom!" "Crack!" "Crack!" And then...it exploded, leaving me with an Australium Axtinguisher. Everyone on the server was like...0_0

Everybody knows valve is biased towards new and terrible players by giving them their first unbox unusuals and golden pans. It's pretty clear now that the players with more experience who carries the team will get a ks fan o war kit and a volcano fragment fabricator and the 1 tour piece of shit gets a golden pan.

sscamc When was your first unbox? If you had tf2 for a few months, then you wouldn't be considered new by valve. And i wouldn't count on getting anything good in the most recent crates in the series. The earlier ones are much better, like crate 31 with the s degreaser or crate 21 with the s minigun and shotgun.
Also, I've started playing two cities when I was about 4 months in tf2. I'm on my 23rd tour now and haven't gotten anything good. I've also witnessed about 7 australium drops and a professional rocket fabricator. Haven't played it since.
