These and highboys were the kings of pickup trucks, 460 c6 3:73 gear do anything the new truckscan do and no computer needed to work on them. My76 highboy trailered vehicles all over ky, tn so in.. I put a 428police interceptor factory 4:10 gears 36 inch tires c6 and a/c , true delight to tow with. Power by ford!
Beautiful Ford . I remember years ago at a Ford dealership they had a 1988 Ford F150 back in mid 90s that was brand new with original paperwork and like 3 miles on odometer. They said it was at the factory and was never shipped and the dealership made a crazy deal for it .
@@carolyntennison5619 Super Camper !!!! Super Camper Special--- 140 inch wheelbase built to haul Big slide in Campers back in the day. Rear axle moved rearward 9 inches for better weight carrying capacity and handling. Spare tire had to be moved to side of bed. My Grandfather and Father worked at the Ford Motor Company Norfolk [ Virginia ] Assembly Plant when these were built. They told me they were Special order and only built a handful a day. The floorpan and headboard are the same as standard wheelbase boxes but the inner and outer bedsides were of course different. They told me when one of these came down the line they had to go over to the wall and get the sides and cut them out of the boxes they were shipped to the plant in-- they weren't in racks like the regular bed side stock. I have 2 of these Trucks --One with a Wrecker Boom in the back and Hauls Great because of the axle being further back!!

@@philipolah7279 hey Philip don't mean to bug but you seem to know your dentside Fords well I just recently got my hands on what looks like a mostly all original CA 1974 F250 Camper Special RangerXLT Gas If im not mistaken it has the 390 with a Motorcraft 4barrel Carb in it I've been trying to look up info on my truck & what made it a CamperSpecial. All I've really found was this hook up cable that dangels between the back of the cab & the bed. I know the CamperSpecial was later given off to the 350 in the later 70's but i cant find much on the 74 F250 CamperSpecial. Shes a long bed, with the integrated passenger side toolbox,Xlt grill embel & seems to have top trim lvl with working A/C system Im still learning, at 25 this is my first classic truck.
@@blueberrypancakes5414 No Bother - Sounds like a sweet Truck!! Ford built the 250 Camper Specials from 66-79. They had the heavy duty cooling package heavy duty heater side toolbox and wiring harness to hook to your camper. You could get a base model or custom or Ranger XLT. MY Wrecker is a custom model and has tilt wheel ac C6 automatic I believe you could order it pretty much any way you wanted. I also have another 73 Ranger XLT F350 Super Camper Special has everything you could get on it I think even the chrome tie down hooks on the side of the bed. Ford made a lot of these Camper Specials and Super Camper Specials and also Trailer Specials. I have a 1979 F150 Trailer Special has heavy duty cooling system and heavy duty towing package and toolbox in the side they had a chrome emblem on tailgate that is a outline is United States and red white and blue on it says Trailer Special. Keep looking online you should be able to find lots of info on the 250 Camper Specials.
Hello, good afternoon, a question whether to discuss the price of the brown truck, how can I communicate with you. I am interested in knowing the price. and if the papers are in order. My name is Alberto
Nice truck BUT the odometer tells the true story. This is NOT original miles, maybe you do not know that when an odometer flips the numbers are no longer straight across so NO sir not 3k original miles!
The guy knows his truck in and out so it is 3000 original miles.. and the inside has absolutely no wear in it that’s a tell tale sign of very low miles
I had 1977 Ford F 250 granny 4 spd and I loved it...This truck is beautiful, don’t ever sell it unless you sell it to me!
