Hey, I like your state of mind so much. I'm 52 and started roller blading 2 years ago. In the street and in the skate park. And you're so right, life is a journey. Build it with your own rhythm and don't pay attention to what others can do or say. Find your own way and keep on with the great tutorials. A big hug from France

Quad skater again (again). I found a park here that has small banks like the ones in the video. I unlocked stalls, consistently, with your technique, i haven't tried the back sides yet. But that's next. I am over the mental coping block. Thanks again for your videos!!!!
I can frontside stall, no problem. The problem is dropping back in lol
drop backwards? :P or turn around in the drop and let ur body do the work.. too much overthinking makes u stop and slam.
@@aegiDiusMrChef that's the exact situation i was in recently and slowly falling backwards. Made the quick decision to turn around as i have never dropped in fakie. Ended up slamming my wrist and ended up taking a trip to ER 🤦♂️
@@leser1music haha yea that's the problem - u went half half in the situation and that's when u slam! even u go for the fakie and learn it, or then u go for the turn even before u get to the stall when learning :D i could only do it backwards first, now im turning..
slamed a couple of times, but that was the doubt i had! :P still same feeling when learning new stuff.. hope u dident get hurt to much or became scared to try again.
I find frontside stall a lot easier than backside. Good job you've done a video on both!

I did my first frontside stalls to fakie in the quarter pipe. Going back in fakie was psyching me out.

Ive always had a fear/inability to land backward (especially quarter pipesi). Do you think you could throw some tips on that into a future video? Thanks for all you are doing!
Quad skater here again. Whew, I tried this for a couple hours today. I’m goofy footed too but I turn the other way. I wiped out so much but I’m determined to watch this over and over and get this by end of summer. I wonder if my problem is not jumping high enough to land strong on that 180? Back at it tomorrow. Thanks!
