3:47 $149!? Holy fuck!! For this being a Zynaptiq plug-in and especially one that was so highly anticipated for YEARS, I was expecting it to cost around $350 similar to Pitchmap and not $149! Given my current financial situation I am beyond glad that hear this!
Thank you Zynaptiq, you're the best
I used this in the early 2000s and didn't even know it still existed. The new version looks interesting!
It hasn’t been available for years for newer operating systems.
I've been waiting for this for several years. Feels like a decade.
It’s about time!!!!!!
I’m going to buy this right away. This has some real potential.
A classic revisited! thank you!
What an incredible plugin!! TAKE MY MONEY💰
Insane, as Zynaptiq stuff usually is
I used this WAY back in the early 2000's... I've been waiting for this EVER since!!!!
two decades later I'm thinking to use it on my next song 😂
With this quality and these features, the price is actually really good. I'm intrigued.
Great presentation! Denis was an awesome guy to speak to a few years back.
cool, looking forward
Finally a crispy detailed resolution. Very nice.
Sounds really good! Checks bank account...
sounds amazing
sooo happy!
It sounds great
Finally!!! Endlich!!!
MY BODY IS READY!
Loved the original, so ready for the updated one.
Strong buy.
Stoked!!
Very interesting!!
Ich warte seit 5 Jahren auf dieses Plugin . Ich hoffe, meine Geduld hat sich gelohnt. Die Haare vom Dennis sind wohl auch 5 Jahre mit gewachsen.
Damn that's nice, release it!
How many of us have been waiting for over 20 years to use this again 😃
Vaya, es interesante! No lo había conocido hasta ahora, sería buena idea probarlo y ver si podría competir con Manipulator de Polyverse 😲👍🏼
Good onya Dennis!
What makes it better than Manipulator?
Can it do vintage vocoder effects such as that used on ELO'S Mr Blue Sky?
Is there an external input for the carrier?
I'd like to bus other things for a carrier like I did with the SVC350
I emailed them literally this exact question and got a resounding YES from Denis himself! I hate vocoders that only allow internal synths, no matter how "good" their creators think they sound.
I have a problem with Orange Vocoder. When I export the track, the vocoder effect has not applied and you hear the original sound as if it didn't go through the vocoder!! Anyone knows what's the issue? I'm using FL 21
Without a doubt the very best vocoder available. I would have got it several years ago, but it was MacOS only at the time, so I had to go with the decent Image Line Vocoder instead, even though it is rather basic compared to this super-powered one.
Is it better than Vocodex?
@@AeonGreyh I think it is, yes. I don't think there's anything Vocodex can do that Orange can't, and Orange has other features besides. They are both great in that they are highly intelligble, if you want speech or singing to be easy to comprehend when run through them - not a given for all vocoders. That was the main feature I was looking for when I got Vocodex many years ago, when I would have preferred Orange if it hadn't been Mac-only.
As a caveat, I don't know if there's been any major updates on Vocodex, but last I checked, its feature set was still not as comprehensive as Orange.
@@hakonsoreide Okay that's good to know, cuz for now Vocodex was the best vocoder for Dubstep and Color Bass but I never had access to it as I'm on Mac and I use Ableton
@@AeonGreyh In that case it might be worth getting Orange on a free trial to see how it works for you. Interesting how possibly the two best vocoders used to be Mac-only and Windows-only, but now at least Orange is for both platforms.
@@hakonsoreide Ikr? It's such a bummer that IL still won't release their standalone plug-ins for Mac
Is there live mode in this vocoder? I mean can I sing in microphone and vocode on the fly?
jeez i hate arcade advertising :/ but i love you guys and its not your fault so im tolerating it :^( [edit] look at the orange voco 2023... didnt know was still alive :O looks/sounds pretty cool!
But can you ad your own carrier wave forms?
No. But you can use custom carriers using the sidechain option
@@Noratekki gothcu!! Thanx man 👍🏽
Korg was a no show? 👽✌️
is it 149 starting may 1st?
Shut up and take my money!!!
You won't be able to run it on your toaster?! What century is this?! Lol.
Nice plug in but doesn't seem to do anything that you can't do with cheaper options like Waldorf Lector.. I mean, for this price you can almost buy the entire Reason package which offers this level of vocoding and so much more..
No way I had Lector it’s a toy.
So $149 is too much for you?
@@georgegeorgio1751 Then you clearly aren't using it properly
@Technomadic I was but the newer vocoders are much better and easier to set up
I don't know of any other vocoder that actually has 24 completely different algorithms....and you should check out the *sound* of this.
Sounds like a very good vocoder, but good luck with that pricing. If it were priced better and came from a company with a better track record of support, maintaining and updating I'd be interested.
The market will likely see this has a handful of great vocoders rather than just one great one, so there's a chance this price will go over just fine.
OK so which one has better features and better price please tell?
@@georgegeorgio1751 Most people are referring to stock DAW vocoders, which are free but definitely don't have as many features
@@SiliconPrairie Agree yes and some of the free ones are ok also but not as feature rich as this latest version , I made 1 of my first modern dance songs with the original OV in the early 2000’s and sounded fantastic , will buy this as soon as released.
I don't know what you mean with support/maintenance etc. Even on our oldest products, for example, we keep updating - like free M1 native support just recently. Maybe you have us confused with someone else?
Feel like I just got upsold by a Meth dealer xD
Nah that’s just you being silly for a laugh.
@@georgegeorgio1751 I am indeed, but tell me he doesn't look like an addict Haha 😂
@@Barefoot_Joe Full-on gear addict.
$249 (!?). Very high compared to the Reason BV-X that also has FFT and Classic modes as well as a built in synth, and vocal tuning. Seems they are out of touch with the market.
Some of these algorithms are only found in hardware units that are thousands of dollars. The question is, is someone who wants one algorithm willing to pay for 10 more they didn't want, even if they are all equally as good? I think it's possible.
@@georgegeorgio1751 I bought it separately
@@Urfinchannel At end of the day they’re both going to sound great ,I don’t want the complication of working out if I can buy it separately or not so I’ll just go with the newer version of orange vocoder which was legendary for it’s time and it looks like this new version will have lots of new useable features.
sounds bloody terrible!
wayyyyyy too expensive
OK so which one has better features and better price please tell?
