“Oh,Who am I kidding?” “Until we meet again….friend,” I feel like thats the only time flowey has been truly honest in this adventure. He only wants his goal of his souls but for a blink moment he back tracks and says something sincere after trying to be snarky.
40:16 Sorry but this is so cool. It's Frisk calling out for help against Omega Flowey in the future
Yeah it's really good
Fun Fact: When we, in the yellow soul segment, call for help and receive green attacks, they are shaped like a clover. A CLOVER.

Very good game though!❤
honestly that ending kinda bothers me as it breaks the whole continuity angle of the fan game
@@clintonbehrends4659 not really? The game gets reset the moment the run is finished, meaning that the geno run is not the one that winds up being the “final run.”
@@clintonbehrends4659It simply isn't the canonical ending, this isn't undertale which can be vague and that means the pacifist is canonically how it ends.
@@colecoal1365 rightI get that but it's just missed oppertunity
because it totally could have fit nicely in cannon the whole flowey sequence (which is still well written) could have been the start of his downward spiral into floweys (whos a kid in a flower) kill or be killed mentality
we could've gotten a serious asgore fight (after all hes only a chump in undertale because he's depressed)
plus this ending doesn't feel at all as bad as it should in fact if your morals are skewed you could argue it's a good ending which contrasted with og undertales ending which has you not even enter the barrier room has a spooky kid talk to you about how much of jerk you are crashes the game and curses your save file so that if you try to make up for it you still get a ominous ending which is a way worse ending then you accomplish your mission and leave the underground

Yo someone woke me up
@@monkeydluffy5104i finally get it oh my days
dude, this game feels the most like Undertale compared to any other fangame. even down to the post credits, referencing the neutral run of the main game with Clover hearing someone call for help even after death. I'm definitely gonna be playing this one.
frisk calling for help in omega flowey
You watched the ending without playing it…?
@@Sodaboy0 I'm proud of my self for understanding this.
The moment where they were hugging clover was beutifully sad and brilliant I have to say, clover is not as determined as frisk but they go second place when it comes to someone being determined in this universe
That ending was so damn sad yet beutiful how clover just goes and lays there while dying it made me cry. WHY IS THE FANDOM ABLE TO MAKE SUCH GODAMN GOOD FANGAMES STILL NOT AS BEUTIFUL BUT THIS IS THE MOST INCREDIBLE ORIGINAL UNDERTALE FANGAME THERE IS IN MY OPINION...
genocide ending is the best ending
failed pacifist ending second best
neutral third
true pacifist is easily the most stupid and illogical ending of the bunch
@@k2ggers961how come true pacifist is “illogical” and “stupid”?
@@k2ggers961 Literally how is the true ending illogical and stupid? You probably just skipped the dialogues and were then confused as to why things are happening lmao
@redfireddragon8584 first thing why would clover be so willing to sacrifice his life for the sake of potentially allowing monsterkind to be free one day, even though the whole final boss fight against ceroba was to prevent her from killing you and stealing your soul to begin with. It feels pointless you know?
Plus ceroba is the ultimate insufferable furry self insert that ruins the entire game. She's so manipulative and creepy it's disgusting. In the pacifist route where you destroy axis in SELF DEFENCE she gets infuriated and berates you for being "impure" implying she only came with you in order to lure you to the true lab and kill you.
You wanna know what makes this ending hit harder. Since we all know that this is a prequel, Clover’s fate was sealed from the start. This is the canon ending unfortunately.
Like yeah, we know clover canonically not going to survive or escape the underground
We know that to begin with
Tragic but yes

I want to sincerely thank the creators of Ut yellow. I got into UT in 2019. I spoiled it for myself. I really wanted to live through a non spoiled pacifist ending. MAN did this deliver it perfectly. When I realized what Clover wanted to do, I'm not ashamed to admitted I started tearing up. Like they shot a bullet into my feels.
Thank you, Team UT Yellow.
Thank you for giving me this opportunity

Can we take a moment to appreciate just how damn BEAUTIFUL those Kitsune Ceroba sprites are?
Bro when I saw phase 2 I almost had a heart attack. And regarding your question, yes, they're beautiful
I literally almost screeched out loud when I first saw those animations, this game is god tier
The ending is sad knowing only Martlet, Ceroba, Star, Asgore, Flowey and Dalv know of Clover’s sacrifice
Edit: First of all, what kind of debate did I start, second, I did not expect this to blow up and I just did this because of my opinion.
@MoomansBiggestFanI think the reason why flowey snapped is that Clover was essentially going to live with someone and not go fight asgore again. So for him to change the beginning, have all the events of yellow happen, and still have that same result would probably make him mad.
@MoomansBiggestFan I think it's a matter of Flowey just giving up on Clover for his goal. Since the True Pacifist route is the "canon" one, that implies he's already gone through neutral. No matter what happens, when the timeline is pushed to its limit, Clover either dies at the barrier or Flowey does (of course, there's no way for Flowey himself to know about the second part, but geno is nevertheless a possible outcome). At this point, he just sees no point in continuing further, and waiting for the next human becomes more fruitful than wasting effort on a no-sum game.
and flower doesn't even care, what a waste.
I like to think they told all the monsters that met Clover what they did for the greater good.
You know, in this story, I've come to realize that the yellow soul not only possessed JUSTICE but all of the other attributes as well:
-The BRAVERY to undertake the daunting tasks ahead
-The KINDNESS being shared with all of the monsters that Clover befriended on their journey.
-The PERSEVERANCE when it came to understanding and solving the many puzzles of the underground.
-The PATIENCE when faced with a foe with challenging obstacles.
-The INTEGRITY when it came to Clover's main objective when they dropped into the underground, to find the five missing humans and in the end, they were willing to sacrifice their own soul so that their friends would someday be free once the Seventh Human Soul arrives in the Underground and decides the fate of the Monsters once and for all. Speaking of said Seventh Human Soul...
Last, but certainly not least:
-Clover had possessed the DETERMINATION to complete their mission to find and liberate the five humans that had climbed Mt. Ebott prior to Clover's arrival and never returned for a reason that was once unknown to Clover until they learned the story and the reasoning behind it all.
No, they don't have determination
They can't change their own fate no matter what in pacifist or neutral they will die.
Clover does have Determination. However, he does not have more Determination than Flowey, and the SAVE ability is exclusive to character with highest Determination in the Underground.
All humans posses some amount of determination. That's how their souls don't shatter once leaving the body.
@@paperhat_boi They do have determination.
It's just that Flowey has *more*

Word of advice: save most of your healing items for phase 4. If you have to die a few times to the first couple phases relying on the “endure” act instead, that’s fine. I had to do the last phase with zero healing items, and the fight was just NOT designed for that. You’re basically waiting for RNG to hand you the win in that scenario, which becomes very frustrating very quickly
I'd say waste two healing items on the first phase zero on the second two on the third
The scream of pure sorrow at the start of phase 4 really shows how much guilt and regret Ceroba was holding back
I couldnt tell if it was mad or sad, i dont know why i couldnt tell first time playing that

Neutral ending: Judgement.
Clover decides which deaths are just and which aren't, and thus they're sent back to the beginning to re-evaluate his decisions.
Genocide ending: Corruption.
Clover decides all monsters deserve to die for allowing injustice to exist in the first place, and becomes unjust themselves, even if they accomplish their initial mission.
True ending: Real justice.
Clover realizes that the reality monsters have to live with is, in itself, unjust. And to truly make things right, they give up their life to do them justice by contributing to the monster's freedom, ensuring justice is served once and for all, even if they're not there to see it.

At the end of True Pacifist, it might be implied that Clover is answering Frisk's call for help in the battle of Photoshop Flowey, which is in the original game.
I haven't seen any comments yet on this, but I liked the way there is a line at the end: "You were called for help. You have answered the call"
It immediately gives me an incomprehensible thrill. I know who's calling me for help, I know what the situation is, I know what the end will be, but now I'm on the other side. I don't know why, but it makes me really excited, because I understand that the story of Clover did not end with the death of the tree.

This was a really fun fight, to be honest. I came in completely stocked with items like the hoarder I was, completely forgot I had a dash mechanic until the final phase, too. This was amazing and I’m astonished by the skill ceiling, to be honest..
so I wasnt the only one who forgot I had it too
I was the complete opposite of that. I had no Gold, no items. I had to find 3 items in trashcans as my only healing items. Thank God there was an endure act, which gives u health whenever u use it. Is there a dash mechanic?
A headcanon of mine is, at the end of Undertale true pacifist (the original game) if you go to the coffin room you can see all the coffins opened. What would i like to think is that the humans who had their souls taken may of been resurrected after the asriel dreamurr fight. And had simply left to do what they have originally wanted. I'd like to think that after clover was resurrected he went back to staying with martlet.
Martlet might have been waiting for him in the afterlife.

no game has made me cry like undertale yellow did, not original undertale, nothing. this game broke me for a bit, similar to how omori did but in a different way.
this is one of the best video game experiences ive had, just as good as undertale itself, and certainly the best fangame for anything that ive played.
This fight made me go through an internal Undertale of my own to decide whether to spare or kill her lmao
This is one of the very few video game endings that actually made me cry... God this game is amazing
40:16 that is a your Best nightmare reference.
Martlet: It isn't found in a serum to "save the world."
Also Martlet:
there are many other pieces of media that I love a lot more than Undertale Yellow, yet it’s the only one where its ending makes me sadder every single time I revisit it, the true one that is, and that fact itself makes it so much more special to me
I liked this fight. It was very fun. And I was determined to win through mercy.
The ending was very sad for me but it's understandable.
Clover knew the inevitable so they decided to show they're sense of justice... To give Monster kind a chance.
Also I kinda got attached to Clover. Which I said to myself that i shouldn't get attached to the main character since I knew they would die at the end...
Because Frisk eventually has to come
I played Undertale Yellow through from start to end a couple days ago. I did pacifist run. Cried pathetically when the credits rolled. Cant bring myself to play another route, this is how it must go
Wow, the ending is way different. On my playthrough, I actually killed Ceroba at the end of the fight, and after that, you actually get to meet and fight Asgore (though it's impossible to win, it's really cool to see his attack patterns in yellow)
Honestly, I feel like that version of events fits with Undertale better than this one.
@@AnnCatsanndraalthough i like more a TRUE pacifist, because not only you kill ceroba, starlo hates you now for killing her
this ending had me crying for a solid 5 minutes. absolutely amazing game.
Much like the area she's introduced in with how Starlo the main boss monster there breaks the starting introduction rule for those types of enemies that Undertale did and the game up till that point did as he isn't brought up at all until you're done with a mini boss. Ceroba is the true final boss despite not being brought up until the middle of the game, even with her almost immediate foreshadowing, it still feels a little out of nowhere.
I Realized at the end, when clover answered someones call for help, i think it might be referencing to the omega flowey fight in UT, the connections of UTY true pacifist to UT are insane and bond super well like glue, when clovers hat and gun got sent to the dump, you can buy those same items in undertale, and during the omega flowey fight on the soul phases when you touch the act button, you call out for help, referencing the same moment seen at 40:18 in UTY. This is Litteraly canon at this point and that just insane.
I loved the omega flowey battle reference in the ending
Making the decisión of playing this Game with no information before hand was the Best decisión i've made, and it paid off in this ending, i didnt Even do the neutral or geno route, i went directly for pacifist, and boy it's the only fangame that has Made me feel like i played undertale for the first time once more, Yea cebora may be a bit unfair but everything else in this route, it's just the Best work Ive seen from the undertale fandom ever
Ah... so that's what happed to the yellow soul.
It seems similar to what Chara chose....
its so sad tbh
I honestly really wish you could have Ceroba stay with you once the extraction was done. Your only choice is to die alone, and this ending made me cry when I got it
star got hit so hard the video had to take an ad break to process the damage lmao
Big oof
True Pacifist ending of original Undertale may imply Clover and the other children come back to life.
This is truly heartbreaking.
my strat here is to save as much food as possible before the last phase, thankfully I can retry for each phase so if I caught lacking I could just try again.
Did you use "endure"? 5-12 healing really saved me a lot of foodstuffs. I only used like 4 of them throughout the whole fight.
@@trololoboi2934 yeah of course forgot to mention
Gosh, this almost made me cry because of how beautiful the ending is.

The music in this fight just freakin GOES SO HARD and I love it!
Just like undertale
I think this is the first time I nearly cried during an undertale related thing
I love this game so much
Why did this make me sob, this isn't normal, DAMN IT I LOVED THIS! I couldn't get past Kitsune Ceroba's final phase, so I had to watch this. Worth it though...
Edit: Long since beat it.
Knowing the lore now bring a smile to my face when I was on my no mercy run
This is the only boss fight in the game that's actually managing to get me a little annoyed. I'm still on it after hours, which is the longest any Undertale boss fight has ever taken me. Ever.
i literally cried,im not an emotional dude but...man...its truly heartbreaking...
same.
This was amazing, made me sob from how sad and great it was. I just wish that the game had difficulty settings or something, because I wasn't able to beat Ceroba, had to just watch this instead. Maybe someday I'll get there and see this on my own game. Much love to the devs, this is THE best Undertale fan project of all time.
"How will i know you"re a human now" That lines kills me😭
I find it a surprise that they didn't just make Asgore the final boss for this fangame, considering he canonically kills each of the children.
(Okay damn, my mistake, I just thought the game implied that Asgore was the one to kill each of the children because of Toriel.)
If you kill her then he makes it to Asgore
This is a what if cuz canonically Clover gets to Asgore and then dies
Not quite, I don't believe it's ever directly stated he killed all the fallen. It's implied that most died or were captured on their way towards New Home, with the Yellow Soul (or Clover) being one of the ones to make it the farthest, with their gear being bought from Catti and Bratti after they go dumpster diving, thus ending scene where they give Clover a funeral. They actually did cover a lot of the bases in terms of making sure the fangame works alongside the original plot.

Im proud that this is my first and only ending to go through. What a great ride start to finish.
"May I stand unshaken~~"
"Amid, amidst a crashing world?..."
why did this ending feel so... narratively unsatisfying?
I don’t know, it felt satisfying to me.
@@foppypoof5195 then that's even MORE confusing... why am i unsatisfied....
Having finished the route I can try to answer that with why it left me unsatisfied: Because it didn't line up with what we understood about Boss Monsters, we only knew that the only pre-requisite was that a boss monster can absorb a human's soul and become something greater and yet for whatever reason Kanako's soul cracked under being injected by the soul extract which if the game's gonna be vague about how much of the original soul that is; it doesn't make sense that she'd be harmed in anyway? If the excuse is that it's due to the purity of the soul then riddle me this one; What about Asriel?
Asriel absorbed a human soul entirely and Chara was definitely not pure in the slightest yet together they transformed, left the underground and tragedy ensues after they have an internal conflict about harming the humans and return to die at their parent's feet. Now the game presents Kanako being injected with an extract of a full soul as a dangerous thing which is kind of a tragic plot-hole and because we didn't even get to see her supposedly vegetative state (So we don't actually know what's become of her) the story falls kind of flat on it's face and circles its way back to her mother who despite demonstrating the love and resolve to finish what she's started the moment the battle was over and Clover decides they're gonna give up their soul anyways for the greater good where was the harm in trying to revive Kanako with the power of justice? Where was the proof that it wasn't going to work? Because despite the experiments done with the blue soul Asgore still eventually got it so apparently in the long run it would not have changed a thing if Clover decides to try to save Kanako with his own soul or do what he did anyways.
And there it was that I realized that the build up for something potentially interesting and unique was never there to begin with and we're supposed to accept that most of that was pointless and only served to help Clover resolve themselves to ending up becoming the 6th human soul not even knowing if the next child would be as strong willed as him or kind enough to do the same. Think about how little sense that makes; because that sacrifice actually accomplishes nothing depending on what happens in Undertale. I wasn't expecting to be diverging from destiny (Which I'm aware you do in Genocide) but if the game was going to end in such a powerful sacrifice could it not have corrected the injustice of Kanako losing her father followed by losing her life? To give her the chance to be her mother's hero and prove her father right? To create a new timeline that all could have potentially led to a completely different Undertale? We'll never know now.
Game was fun though. Enjoyed the final boss fight. Each phase change Ceroba went through I was tearing up as the dissatisfaction was already creeping up on me that they were never going to show the viewers and I what would've happened had she had her way.
@@enoentheheroWhen it comes to the nature of souls in undertale, I have to point out firstly that this is a fan-game, and they clearly have their own headcanon as to how everything works. It also doesn't seem to take Delta Rune much into account here. Ultimately things will be off because only Toby himself has all the answers.
If you ask me, what the narrative implies is that the entire world of Undertale was a "dark world" as consistent with those seen in Delta Rune. This matters due to the nature of souls creating a "lightener" who seems to have the power to shape and even destroy dark worlds. It's implied monster bodies are made of something metaphysical and are so light, heavy "water based" humans could just blow them away with malicious intent. They are all essentially Tulpa, thought entities, existing inside a bubble of theoretical reality, and their souls are just as unreal. Consider their alignment mirroring human souls, almost like a shadow.
Its revealed in UT that Asgore could have broken the barrier (or the limit of their world, imo) with a single human soul, again verifying the vast power a human soul contains over them. In DR monsters roam the overworld, and clearly have human-like souls now, making them all "lighteners." The "different thing" that Asriel became when he took on Chara's soul was likely a lightener, who is realized as a living being that can determine things for himself now, thus walking out of the dark into the real world. Going from imaginary to non-imaginary, and gaining determination.
Speaking of, we should discuss Determination, as UT loves word-puns.
It has three primary meanings:
"The willpower to go on in face of anything." Being determined...
"To have the power to decide how things shall be..." To determine...
And of course... "The power to undo death and continue on..." De-Termination... that's right, its a PUN. Just like "Re-Fusing"
Consider all three... monster souls rarely have any of these options.
They did not make themselves, have no power to resist a strong will, and lose their form on death. They are nothing, no more than dust. Except flowey... he naturally has determination due to his status as a lightener. He can alter local time and space, change his form, and even transcend death, but its likely these are leftovers from his determination being poured into a soul-less flower, leading to his issues. His real body died, after all.
The other dead monsters lost their total sense of self, and all determination did was bring them back from death, but they lacked the ability to "determine" their self, leading to the amalgams. They required a stable soul.
In this way, it doesn't make much sense that Kanako would be harmed by taking on a human soul, especially if she was a boss-monster akin to Asriel. Human determination would actually strengthen her soul, not strain it. But as I opened with, this is a fan-understanding and their world's headcanon playing by rules that may not be consistent, but appeal to them and their desire for tragedy. As brilliant as this story is, it is not the true tale of yellow, and never will be. I think that little "crack" in the tale was enough to remind you and others of this, and take them out of the immersion. How sadly unsatisfying...
@@OceanFragments This was the best response to my gripe with the game. You helped me make peace with this game. It had left me unsatisfied for a while after finishing it. Very few have the insight of the lore to make a post as good as yours explaining the reasoning behind the plot in relation to the source material. Honestly that "crack" was the only thing stopping me from holding this fan game in the highest standard as it left me feeling like I didn't achieve the true ending hah.

This is a choice I wanted to make back when Undertale first came out. Asriels story brought me to tears. I didn’t want the monsters to suffer anymore, so I let Asgore kill me over and over again. I spent a solid hour doing that, but the game only gave me the choice to persevere.
Finally, after ten long years I got the ending I wanted.
Playing that random arcade game in the Dunes should not have been the foreshadowing it was, yet here we are.
Seeing that dash pop up hours later made me a bit more hype than it should've.
This game is truly amazing. Not having a PC yet when it came out, I had to watch the gameplay, but I can't wait to play it myself. Hell, this will always be the canon ending for me. It's damn touching and made me cry even though I knew that boy's fate was already sealed. I must have seen the final part at least a hundred times (Somebody calls for help / You answer the call) imagining Clover in the darkness who, hearing Frisk's voice in the neutral ending of Undertale, adjusts her hat and, following the yellow light of his soul having just reappeared before him, he rushes to Frisk's aid, only to be finally freed and able to go to the afterlife.

My game gliched in this part IS SO STRANGE, is scaring me asf
I had some bug where i got hundreds of hp which made whole pacifist route easy for me
1 mil hp? XD
@@erickmontes2149 can you read, i wrote "hundreds"
@NXBRYZ Some people use that word to express a big number, so I just assumed you had alot of hp, sorry.
@@erickmontes2149 ok, no mean being rude if anything i said counted as that
I think Player HP caps at 999
That last part, the one where someone asks for help, THATS FRISK LIKE OMG, they tried so hard to make the games connect it hurts.
I cant wait the other souls from medieval undertale orange to prehistoric undertale purple
This ending have the most canon-material of Undertale Prequel as Asgore have yellow soul and you can find Clover's gun and hat in Undertale.
WHO TF IS CUTTING ONIONS?!😭😭
2:13 so like…what was martlet’s plan here? With her wings occupied she and clover would have fell like cartoon characters
Seeing Clover's SOUL take yellow soul mode was so amazing
We need more undertale fangames lke thism we have to know how all the souls are gottent for asgore.
im not gonna lie, the first time i finished pacifist, i shed tears.
Scenes in my pacifist ending were a lot different. I didnt have the tongue man stuck to the pole and Mo had a shop set up and the 3 cups were there plus a shit ton of other people hanging around it.
its actually sad, that clover give them her soul i guess, red heart (vanila undertale character) was the real one who was spared in pacifist route
as soon as i heard the big shot noise during the fight i fucking lost it lmao
Here the ones that couldn't run the pacifist cuz the extreme object overlapping at the end screen
This is one of the few games ever that made me cry!! :D (im being fr here)
Unfortunately, the ending was incredibly bugged and laggy for me. Thanks for uploading it so I could see it anyways.
yall just realize that ceroba is a mother and she's fighting a kid
she knows what'll happen to clover's future and what will become of him
Ceroba: WHY WONT YOU DIE?! 5:10
Clover: NANOMACHINES SON-
10:25 Ceroba memory #1
14:10 Ceroba memory #2
The next soul up would be Undertale Green which is Kindness, so it would be interesting to see what stands out about them when this fanon version of Clover was already super kind.
Bro probably had monsters work with this kid to get around
Bro probably had monsters work with this kid to get around
I already liked yellow's version of green, which is the mage, who lived till death of old age
huh? whwn@@darkecstaticcomment
This gives off the same vibes as a disbelief papyrus it’s good
Ik this kinda late but I’m guessing after clovers proper send off in waterfalls I’m guessing this simpile followed after. Bratty and catty proably got clovers belongs from the junk and would later try to sell it. An I believe the call for help may reference when frisk is fighting omega flowey or asriel. Kinda cleaver move here.
Why am I actually crying over pixels
