Can't love this enough, please check out the adjustable main jet kit from EC carburetors for the 420cc etc. It is a massive improvement and more importantly it is easy to tune on the fly for weather, intake/exhaust mods etc. A long exhaust system would be a great improvement too. Step the pipe up a size every foot or so and it'll sound nice at the tail end. Love it!
Brother you get an A+ for this project. Your creativity and expertise really came through. I've been planning to build something like this for sometime. So far I have an 11 HP predator motor and some 2" heavy gage steel tubing. Seeing your project has helped with my design.

You could put a disc brake on the rear end at the drive shaft and possibly run an alternator off the driveshaft also for charging the battery, i like it,its way Cool 👍👍👍
I'd like to see one built with the 2.3 Lima Four and 5 speed. There's the efi, the cat, and the rest of the exhaust of course. But I think that would be neat. Maybe with a Cherry Bomb muffler.
This whole project went completely differently than I could have ever dreamt up. Talk about a truly fun little people hauler.
They make small supercharger kits for this engine. I'm sure we would all love to see you install one!

Thanks for the info. I’ll look into it. I like to work on getting rid of the popping noise but don’t know enough about tuning small engines to fix it.

that is awesome how you welded the rear end into the frame. better leave the tire pressure low with no suspension! lol

Cute little project! One thing - using the ranger steering column would have given you an ignition switch and turn signal switch. And maybe tilt.
