I am SO ready for the new season to start. I already have my first trip of the year planned and booked. For hiking in the Branson area, my favorites are the Lakeside Wilderness, the Henning Conservation Area and the State Park. So many great ideas for spring. Thanks!
Honestly it depends on if you are wanting a free trail or to pay. It depends on if you want an asphalt trail, dirt trail, or mulch trail. This one is super subjective but I would say the ones that we have spent the most time at are: 1. Table Rock Lakeshore Trail 2. Lakeside Wilderness Forrest Area 3. Ruth and Paul Henning Conservation Area 4. Busiek State Forest and Wildlife Area (just north of Branson) The best paid trails belong to Big Cedar Properties (Bass Pro). Top of the Rock, Big Cedar, or Dogwood Canyon. Just south of Branson in Arkansas is some of the best trails we have been to as well. The Ozarks are full of natural beauty.
Do you think SDC with a 4 year old is worth it? Also, how difficult is Marvel cave? Could a 4 year old make it through? Could a senior citizen get through it? Great video!
We have a 4 year old and her favorite place on Earth is Silver Dollar City. It kind of depends on which festival you are attending for the best things to do with a 4 year old, but there are always things to do or rides to ride for our kids to have fun. Marvel Cave kind of depends on the fitness level of those involved. Our 4 year old has done it. If a person can walk/stand for around an hour at a time, then I don't think you would have any issues. There are areas where you have to duck or virtually crawl if you are taller. They have a simulation of the smallest space before you get in line for the cave. A lot of the descent takes place on stairs or ramps, so if those are an issue, then maybe not the best activity. Please let us know if you have any other questions and thank you so much for watching!
I lived in Branson for 4 years, left in 2014. I grew up in NYC of the 50s and early 60s until the democrats destroyed the city as you all see on the news. Branson beats it by far, especially these days of forcing different cultures together which is unnatural. Branson had great people, excellent Christian population and you never ran out of things to do or places to see! Today, there's even more. I lived in the Vinyards with a great view of Shepherd Tower and sunrise over Branson ... as Corrie Ten Boom observed looking down flying over the area on a plane years ago, "That place is blessed!" May the locals elect decent God fearing people in Branson and the surrounding area for years to come ...
