Gotta say though I was really disappointed to not get any exciting young players back for Pascal
That was my initial reaction as well to be disappointed to not get any promising young talent but they held out for Freddie and he walked. We have more solid role players and some 3pt shooting which Scottie needs as support and Siakam himself was a late first round pick (which these three will be). Given the contract situation, this is a fair trade.
They still aren't that bad tho. Y'all are only 1.5 out of the play-in, and there aren't that many contracts you can unload besides Gary and Dennis. I still think they could go on a lil run.

The thing about the picks the Raptors got is that they don't have to use them. You can flip Brown and the picks to someone else if you want proven players.
If they could’ve they would’ve done a 3 teamer. Cause after the deadline they’ll have to trade those picks draft night (where their value is probably gonna be lower) and browns weird contract situation prevents them from moving him

Like the trade for both teams. I can't imagine that this si the last move the raptors try to make beofre the deadline this season. Still have a lot of money that they can get off, adding bruce brown to that list. Given their history of good development and drafting, three firsts is a great return. Plus, even though Nwora and Kira lewis haven't done anything, they are still young. Obviously we won't know for a while if this trade pans out for toronto, but I do think they got the best return they could've given the circumstances of siakams contract. Just building around Scottie and surrounding him with guys around his age that he can develop and build chemistry with is great. Excited to see wha this raptors team looks like in a few years. And a great move for the pacers too. Could be there missing piece.
3 FRP? Plus players? On an expiring contract?! Uhhh if they don't win a chip THIS season and he walks then this will go down as one of the worst trades in recent memory. Siakam is good BUT is he really going to give them the ability to win it all? I honestly don't think so.
I think the risk of pascal leaving in the offseason is higher than whats being mentioned. Its been made clear he will explore his options regardless of where he went

We got 2 late frp in a weak draft and another one in the late 20s, couldn’t get jarace or Ben… happy we didn’t let him go for nothing like Fred though😀
The trade makes sense, especially with Isaiah Jackson frequently getting in technical trouble and Myles only playing the 5, the Pacers needed some more depth at the 4 (and Siakam's an upgrade at STARTER, so even better). Sad to see Bruce Brown go though, he was a bucket.
The pacers fleeced if Masai can't get good value for one of those firsts + Bruce, I cried showering for 5 minutes. Pascal got done dirty up to this point this season, the Pacers are easily a darkhorse in this year's playoffs now.

With you 100. This is not a good trade for Siakam. I would have waited until Trade deadline, maybe some other teams would have gotten desperate and offered more talent or better picks. Either way this trade should have happened last year if the front office had no plans to resign the guy
Siakam was my favourite player on the Raptors. It would feel bitter to see him go had they not won the chip in 2019. Rooting for him and the Pacers this year.
Thanks for the non biased content covering pacers, all these other morons saying pacers no where near Milwaukee still on tv made me laugh hysterically we whooped that ass 4 out of 5 and we aren’t near them? It’s nice someone actually knows the team lol
The 12:00 minute mark sums it up; trading a pick for an expiring Poeltl is wild, given that we just got a worse pick for Siakam. This is ugly for the Raptors. The circumstances make this a C, but the overall situation is a solid D.
The trade will be really evaluated on who will become those draft picks, unless being traded again...Regardless of strenght of a draft class, teams have whiffed at top propect and stars found later in the 1st round or even 2nd round...History should show us not to devalue draft picks even if low in the 1st round....
Don’t know how to feel abt this, love the picks we’re bringing, contracts freeing up but what do we think they gonna do with brucy? Resign him or let him walk
This is pretty weak for the Raptors. Trading a All NBA player and one of the best players in franchise history, all for 3 middling firsts and filler. Should not have been in this position in the first place. Just poor management.
It's not great, but pulling the trigger at all is good for the Raps. We needed to blow it up last year, by trading one or two of Poeltl/Vanvleet/Siakam then. Now we get 2-3 rotational players and some late firsts which could develop into an OG or Siakam (unlikely as it is, we drafted both at the tail end of the 1st round). I would agree, still a blemish on management, but it's workable
Oh man, this is the most I ever disagreed with Kenny. Not for the Pacers part, I think it’s still great trade for Pacers. He fits that team well. The Raptors got 3 first round picks and Bruce Brown who’s been pretty good this year and last. Also Jordan, who has showed nice potential and Kira, who I don’t know well, I’ll be honest. This was for a guy having a down year with 4 months left on his contract. And the Pacers still had to overpay for the trade. He didn’t fit the rebuild for the raptors and they were going to have to pay the super max to retain him. Which would have made him harder to trade. The Raptors are now fully committed to the rebuild. A fucking + trade.
Nwora sucks, he’s like a dollar store MPJ who does nothing well except shoot. And while 3 picks on paper is cool, 2 of those picks are about to be at the end of round 1 this year. For perspective the pick they gave up last year for Jakob is looking more valuable than both combined. Its a fine return but definitely not an overpay and far from what they likely could’ve got last year
i mean... ultimately, those picks aren't likely to be worth much. more than that, though, i saw a lot of raptors fans on twitter think that they were getting walker or mathurin in this trade. given that, it's difficult for me to consider this an overpay.
As a Pacers fan, I’m so excited! Pascal has been talking with Haliburton for months. He already said he’s excited to resign. Plus the Pacers now have his bird rights and can offer him more than any other team can.
Crazy to see the different opinions on this trade personally I think both teams did well but I like this for raptors because of them getting picks for an expiring and I really do not believe in pascal if you want to win a chip or even the east in the next few years

With you 100. This is not a good trade for Siakam. I would have waited until Trade deadline, maybe some other teams would have gotten desperate and offered more talent or better picks. Either way this trade should have happened last year if the front office had no plans to resign the guy
Refreshed until kenny dropped his reaction lmao
I like this trade for both teams hopefully Sakiam stays 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
That’s what I was thinking, people jumping straight to instant winners since they want that instant gratification of making a bold statement smh
Siakam was my favourite player on the Raptors. It would feel bitter to see him go had they not won the chip in 2019. Rooting for him and the Pacers this year.
Him and a healthy Hali definitely puts them in the playoffs. They still need more to be a championship contender
Thanks for the non biased content covering pacers, all these other morons saying pacers no where near Milwaukee still on tv made me laugh hysterically we whooped that ass 4 out of 5 and we aren’t near them? It’s nice someone actually knows the team lol
jim boylen jumpscare😭
First video I've watched from you. Very well done. Keep up the energy. Hopefully Pacers make the Finals again soon.
Was hoping for a Nembhard or Jalen Smith given that Walker or Mathurin were off the table.
Damn man, as a Pacers fan, great analysis my guy, spot on, on everything!
Kenny still dodging the 82 and 0 challenge skull 💀
bro typed to get the skull emoji 💀
That Bruce Brown contract looks so smart by the Pacers now
The 12:00 minute mark sums it up; trading a pick for an expiring Poeltl is wild, given that we just got a worse pick for Siakam.
Pacers w pascal look a lot like the 2020 hawks on steroids
8:18 keep in mind, our pick is only top 6 protected to the spurs from the poeltl trade, i don’t see us being bottom 6 tbh, we gonna need to jump up
Raptors are setting up to get a specific player from this draft and trade some other assets. This trade is a setup for the next. They have a vision.
As a Pacers fan, I’m so excited! Pascal has been talking with Haliburton for months. He already said he’s excited to resign. Plus the Pacers now have his bird rights and can offer him more than any other team can.
Crazy to see the different opinions on this trade personally I think both teams did well but I like this for raptors because of them getting picks for an expiring and I really do not believe in pascal if you want to win a chip or even the east in the next few years
First time watching... very well presented... u r a charismatic dude
Kenny with that Jim Boylen PTSD 😂
Kenny had flashbacks when he saw ‘Jim Boylan’
As a raptors fan this is an F
4:57 I love this reaction!!!
