I'm going to Weymouth in like 2 moths and I'm so excited to go there again, I go on the end of May and I'm SO EXCITED!!!! I'm watching this because I won't to go NOW Lol!!!! And Weymouth is the best place you can go to relax, Sit, Enjoy and have FUN!!!!
Great video when Marina walked by Tilleys bike shop she said it had been there forever well i lived in Weymouth from 1955 to 1960 and i purchased a Triumph motorbike from this shop in 1966 ( That is fifty five years ago) The town has altered a lot . I enjoyed the video a lot good job.
Thank you for taking me on such a wonderful trip down memory lane. I lived in Weymouth 1977/1978 and would have stayed if not for circumstances. We ended up in Essex and have been very happy here, but Weymouth was always our second home and where we escaped to whenever we could. There have been a lot of changes over the years but this place will always have my heart. ❤️
We used to holiday there travelling from the East midlands year after year when me and my brothers were kids, some 30 years ago. I can see a lot has changed but the tops of the buildings haven't. When we went, there was a horror house on the seafront and the deep sea adventure (I think it was called) on the harbour, town side. I bet the amusement arcades on the seafront have all but gone(?) Nice to see the town streets though, good memories.
Most of the arcades are gone, one left in the Alexandra Gardens and a few kids rides. Weymouth is very lucky that we have a nice beach and tourist still love to visit. It keeps a few nice quirky shops and bars going. You should visit in summer again.
