Idk if anyone already said this... But the "warrior" is Achilles who is from Greek mythology. He was the dude in the movie Troy if that helps. Anyways, when he was little he was dipped in the River Styx, by his Achilles heel, this made him invulnerable to being hurt anywhere but his Achilles heel because it was the the only thing that wasn't submerged. Needless to say he went on to be killed by an arrow to the Achilles heel and thus it got it name. Kobe then ripped his Achilles heel needing multiple surgeries on it. Many consider it the "Achilles heel" of his career or his weakness. That is why the warrior symbol is on the back. Its a nice bit of story telling!

do you have problems with the traction? if you do what do you do to solve it? i have problems with the transculent traction
@@drakuilar I’ve never had to much of a problem but I’ll say I don’t hoop to much but I was hooping in some nmds I know they ain’t basketball shoes but my foot blew out of the literally like Zion. But I’ve had some lebron 17s and the Kobe 11s are much better shoes for anything including ball. And I had some kds back when I was in high school and they were real nice to

I played in a league game today with these and had no problem with the traction what so ever. It was very strong and allowed me to not worry about doing hard cuts or switching speeds. Love this shoe! Best Kobe since the 8s.
I absolutely love the look of the Kobe 11s. The purple colorway looks beast, but these look great too.
Truly one of maybe 3-4 sneaker reviewers I enjoy watching videos from consistently. I had no interest in this shoe before honestly, but I'm looking forward to your performance review now.
I got these this morning and when I got home I put these on right away (cause I can't go to no indoor court now). But these were so comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Although I didn't go to a court, I went to the hardwood in my kitchen and it felt like the traction was gripping on the floor, I thought the floor was sticky at first cause of the sound it made and the grip it had to the wood.

I agree this shoe is gorgeous. I saw them in person today on my to pick up the 2's and immediately changed my mind and got these. My first Kobe, in my opinion these are more comfortable than the 10 I tried both on feet.

My boy played in them. Only once. Traction was sad. But we all know there is a break in period. But I REALLY hope they end up being beasts!
Kobe will have at least 3 more models. In an interview while he was in China he was asked what the Kobe 24 model would be like. He responded saying that it was too early too tell but he knows the direction of the next 3. He also greatly emphasized that all of his future models would be performance.
It sounds like the Kobe line will be around for a while, and I'm super excited to see where it goes!

I played in mine today in a tournament and the traction was okay it wasn't out of this world but it gets the job done
I just tried them on today at footlocker,def a nice shoe and I actually went down half a size I usually wear 10.5 but went to a 10 because it was a little long in the toe area,the fly knit def not better then prime knit but better then the Kobe 10,and thanks for putting me on to brandblack I just brought a pair am not sure what their called but look like something you would wear on a boat lol,but their def comfortable but I should have listened to you when you said for normal size feet go half a size down cause the 10.5 was a little to big but tried on another pair and the 10 was perfect,thanks again for these vids you put out #teamnightwing

yeah, that rounded heel area gets me worried too. i don't think that 2nd outrigger placed on the lateral side of the heel wont be enough. idk.
tried it today.... just switched out from the kobe 10, the traction is day and night better on the 10.. the 11 is horrible :(
but on the bright side, the cushioning is great and it fits true to size (a little bit wider than the kobe 10).. agreed with Nightwing where it's REALLY comfortable.. ventilation is better than the kobe 10 as well
at the end of the day, traction is horrible coming from the 10, but everything else is an upgrade, especially the looks and the lunaron + cushioning!

Just finished playing in Kobe 11 & Kobe 10...Kobe 11's upper is more comfortable, but everything else, including traction is better on Kobe 10 performance wise.

I have them the cloth insert over the midsole/insole unglues quickly, but the traction is really good on the hardwood, it feels sticky like a movie floor but I'm suspect on how long it will last

You're right about questioning the traction Nightwing2303... They're great out the box but not good on dusty courts. Traps dirt and dust between the tiny grooves. I was sliding a lot and needed to wipe constantly.
