- Today we install a turbo kit for a customers car using his supplied parts. The turbo kit is known “ebay kit” and is more of a budget build. I tried to show the step by step how to process, and this video should help anyone wondering how to do it themselves and see the process being done.

Right stuff gasket maker is the best stuff on the planet, never leaks, and can be put right back in service in a hour. Also, push lock hose is awesome to work with. It will work for anything up to 300psi. Coolant, oil, fuel, air, e85, anything.... Great informative content, nice work.

I waited the full 24 hours when I did my oil pan totally worth it!
If you cut the lower portion of the crash bar where you mounted the intercooler, you can make more room to tuck the intercooler up higher so it doesn’t sit so low. It will also allow you to put the bumper with minor modifications and keep the front webbing for the incognito look.

I work on big trucks and equipment but love big hp cars so I’ve been building a 97 coupe I’ve got 2 JDM high compression B20B’s one stock and one fully built and one B16A2 head. But the pieces on the intercooler typically in fabrication terms is referred to as a tab from the guys I’ve known

I boosted my Z6 and lost all oil pressure because i used another oil pan! Be sure to use ORIGINAL oil pan guys makes a difference .. good video

Shouldn't the turbo inlet be on driver side of the engine bay, maybe that's why the charge piping didn't fit.

For the oil send unit fitting, do you only use the tape on the side that screws into the block do you tape up the oil sender side and feed line side as well?
In Death Valley California Yuma Arizona Phoenix Arizona AC in a car is it a must I wish I didn't live in Phoenix so I didn't need to have AC. Cars made in the 80s and early 90s that are in Phoenix most have ac that works still. lol. Good thing they make AC and power steering friendly turbo kits for the Integra

The turbos backwards exhaust housing supose to be on pass side of the car that would allow you plenty room for the filter man but great video

Hey brother I’ve watched this video multiple to study it, I’m now in the right position to turbo my integra, I haven’t bought anything yet because I feel Iike there’s something I should do before throwing a turbo kit on my engine, any help ? I heard a compression test ? Anything I’d need to upgrade first ? Or test out ??

I’m swapping engine/tranny to a JDM type R b18c and go auto works turbo kit. Is it easiest to install the turbo kit or some of it on the engine before I drop it in or does it matter? Thanks
you put the inside nut for the return on backwards that crush washer isnt going to crush evenly. if you look one side is curved and one side is flat. flat side for crush side.

Why are all these eBay kits external waste gate? Wouldn’t it be easier to mount and simpler with a internal wastegate kit? And do you think these eBay kits are to big. Usually spool up later.

SP Tuning I have been searching for all the AC lines/ Dryer/ and condenser to add to my H22 EG for quite a while. Maybe we could PM about these parts? DC A/C stuff should work on eg i hope.
Pre 2000s Hondas are very difficult to find in yards near me in Kentucky. So it would be amazing if you could sell me these parts if they are still laying around.

Can I turbo my Sohc 89 civic? Its an automatic. Unfortunatley. It has 120,000miles on it. Also will i have to upgrade internals of the engine at all? I dont want to squeeze 400 horses out of it. I just want it to hit at least 150-200 horses. Its currently sitting at 92hp stock.
You can turbo anything, just run 470 injectors a small t3/t4 turbo and nothing more than 5-7 psi plus get a decent tune..
itll make around 215-225hp 10psi on 93 pump street tune though. around 15psi probably make 255-265hp. unless its the b20b itll make around 250hp 10psi on 93
If he goes E85 hell do 300-330 whp at 10-12lbs with 900cc injectors

Jonathan Aban most likely not it’s a tight squeeze. I may be wrong but everyone I know with turbo integras, don’t have the A/C because of how tight it is. Its worth losing the A/C for a turbo in my opinion though haha.
So, let me ask you a question, when you first started modifying your Integra and decided to go turbo, how did you start? Meaning, how did you first get into turbocharging your Honda? I bought a 97 EJ8 Civic coupe for $1000 off of a 19 year old and it had a JDM D15B VTEC block with a Y7 head (yeah, I know, but he didn't), the first thing I did was get a Z6 head, head studs, Cometic head gasket, new timing belt, water pump, tensioner, and I drove it like that for about a month before I installed an eBay turbo manifold just like that one, but it had a DSM T25 flange on it and it came with a perfectly good T25 turbo. I put that on and it spooled at like 2000 RPM, so it was about worthless, so I bought an Evo III big 16G turbo and it felt weak too, and that's when I bought an entirely new eBay kit and installed it. It was alot of fun on 8 psi, but I needed more torque, so I went with a B18B1. Now I have a fully built LSVTEC with a Garrett GT3582R dual ball bearing turbo that makes 588 whp. It's scary fast for me and I love it.

Always. You pay what you get for. But budget only allows for so much always. do what you can afford, but do it right
