My main camera isn't originally in the scene, but, along with the player, gets loaded in with DontDestroyOnLoad. Is there any way to set it on the timeline track?
@@chinyoka2387 you have two options… if the camera that gets spawned with the player is actually a Cinemachine virtual camera, then you can override it in the timeline simply by using the Cinemachine track and add the virtual camera clip there. If you are using a normal camera, replace it with a Cinemachine virtual camera and make sure there is a “Cinemachine brain“ in the scene. Then follow the above steps.
Nice Tutorial! I have a question related to this video and your track one: If I have a timeline with a dolly track that is showing on the timeline as just animations, and I want to add say another virtual camera that starts after the track is done, how would I do that seamelessly?
Thanks! You can do that by using a Cinemachine track. You’ll place the other camera where the first camera stops, then you’ll fade the camera clips, so the old camera will lerp into the new one.

Yes, if you want to change how fast an auto follow camera follows the target, you can increase damping so it will follow it slower. If you want to change the animation speed in the timeline, convert the animation track to a clip, then stretch it and convert it back to an infinite track. Hope that answers your question 🙏🏼
