Well they accepted what Green has become cause they all feel guilty for Raticate’s death. While I feel they are concerned for Green’s mental state, they don’t feel like they can turn on him cause they are already trained to be as cold and him.

Their guilt will keep them in line
Look at Arcanine it’s entirely self aware that Raticate died because it wanted to save it as a Growlithe so to repent for its guilt, it’ll become Greens new ace, fulfilling the spot Raticate once had, it’s driven by guilt and only finds happiness in becoming stronger for Green, which Green uses to make him even stronger
This applies all his Pokémon except Rhydon but given Rhydon was selective chosen it would fall in line as well, seeing itself as pawn used to get a win for the team

@@melancholicthinker9291 The team is also unlikely to turn on him as the few who may want to will be killed by the ones who defend him..If Rhydon lashed out Arcanine would end that real quick for example..and then they'd either die or be discarded.

This follows the japan way of naming them. Pokemon Green came out before Pokemon Blue. Which is why Gary is referred to as Green. And vis versa.
