Crazy how far such a small bird can fly from the far north all the way to the tropical south, back and forth. I would assume the rufous and black chinned hummers replace the ruby throats and buff bellied hummers on their summer range along the Gulf Coast.
Depends on the nuances in their movement. Each season seems to be at least a little different from every other especially as you go further from population centers.
