i don’t even think Carrie should be in the Horror genre tbh. i think it’s more of a psychological thriller, than horror. but that’s just me lolol it’s not even scary in any way.

Chloe Grace Moretz and Julianne Moore both shows us their best acting skills in that movie.Chloe acting amazing the frightened girl in all movie and Julianne the crazy mother,both should oscar nominated.

This is hell of a movie, I love it!!
They could've made this movie so much better, but sadly they made Carrie's rampage of revenge very limited. With today's special CGI special effects, there could've been EXCELLENT scenes of Carrie angrily destroying her entire town; whatever crosses her path. House windows explode and shatter, cars flip throughout the air, huge trees pull out from their roots, side walks cave in, fires spread every place possible, telephone poles electrocute townspeople, fire engines spray water everywhere. NONE of that happen. Only ONE brief scene of a small area next to the school on fire. But this ^ all could've been tastefully done - to make this "Carrie" movie stand alone from the others.

That's why I love the 2002 version! Even though the effects back then are nothing compared to now, it seemed like EVERYTHING was being blown up!
Abigail Caveney Me too! For a TV movie it was pretty good, and it was over 2 hours long! It went into great depth. But I love Chloe Grace the best as Carrie White, because she was the only actress who was the character's age in real life

Yall do know that this is like the 3rd re-make of this film right? The original came out in the 70s, and the second was released in 1999 (the best one) in my opinion.
