I loved this movie, along with the original, and the TV version, but I hoped to see another faithful adaptation of the book. Like I wanted to see the town automatically know it was Carrie even if they never met her and I wanted to see more of the town being destroyed
I don't know if I believe in telekinesis specifically, but there's no way our emotions as humans are confined to our minds. Like Gabriella said, people like Carrie who are pushed beyond human limits are definitely candidates for their emotions to effect the outside world. Sort of like mothers who can lift cars off of their toddlers who have been pinned under its wheels.
The telekinesis is all on our mind but its locked yet because scienctist study this for years some people at paranormal tv its true if you meditation for long is the key to unlock it and free your mind.
It reminded me of the movie Lucy Starring Scarlett Johansson... In it Morgan Freeman's scientist character says... Humans have only managed to untap 10% of their cerebral capability..(which is a true fact according to real scientist) so it makes me wonder if we cud untap 50% or just a complete 💯% of our brain capabilities wud that make us invincible?
Am I the only one who keeps wishing I had telekinesis for me when someone always like Carrie always had fear,scared,bullied for those people I feel like they have it cuz they been afraid there whole life....
If telekinesis was real, a disaster similar to the "black prom" in Carrie would have happened somewhere in real life already, but we don't hear anything. No "white comission" in real life, no telekinesis But I think that some of that might be possible but only with the aid of technology, I have watched on a documentary, a person was able to write text on a computer with just their mind with something connected to the brain and transmiting signals from there to the computer.
Well in the book it's implied that the White commission more or less covered up the truth. And there's another Stephen King book where the government (attempts) to lock up people with supernatural abilities. For all we know, something similar could exist irl
