I have a '97 with the 3.4 that I brought in to Ontario in 2020 @ 106K - Now @ 190K - My heart wanted the 1KZ but the 5VZ is soooo much easier to maintain as almost every single part I have replaced had a '97 4 runner equivalent
Just received the car and it’s a beauty! I replaced a headlight bulb only to find a mystery switch, maybe city lights, super dim. Other than having to replace turn signal bulb, it feels outstanding! The rear locker works 😍 I might have to daily drive this for a year to make sure everything is good 😅 Thank you for another great transaction.

Let's hope I can get parts for AC state side as that's a TZ model and I believe the rear air has a bigger compressor than the TX, but I'm not certain. This car is going to sunny AZ where we need the AC. I know of a great shop and who knows, maybe a 4runner or 100 series compressor will cross over and work.
