Here's an amazing little tip/exploit I guess? When you get to Rostok, and you start the arena side mission. The 3rd match your given an awesome sniper (M701 super) and a damn good armor set ( Seva-V suit) after clearing the enemies before you go back into the arena entrance, drop the armor and sniper. Open the door but don't step through yet. Crouch and kick the sniper and armor into the room ahead of you, the guy will talk to you and take the gear on you. DONT PICK THE STUFF BACK UP YET!!! First grab your gear from the safe, then turn around and pick the armor and sniper up. Boom you just got some pretty great gear for free. The armor is valued over 53k, 😂the sniper is over 35k. You're welcome🤘🤙 us stalkers need every advantage when it comes to the exclusion zone💯🔥
In poppy field mission you can kiill that guy after giving the herloom and take it back with the key to his safe theres a map there marking the exact locations of the dead and dont forgot to pick up the blue flower artifact
The fact that those two high end rifles are specifically flagged to disappear after the prologue, but none of the other items are, makes me think they intentionally left in the exploit for all the good medkits and AKs at least. There's no way to keep the good guns either - unloading them, damaging them, dropping them outside on the ground, nothing makes a difference. Those probably have some unique ID in the engine that's exclusive to the tutorial. Those 99% condition 74Us though, those are free. So are all the scientific medkits and high grade ammo, and I think you can even keep the bullets from the tutorial rifles if you want, just not the guns.
The goal of Stalker games is usually to survive and solve the mysteries and problems of the Chernobyl exclusion Zone (simply called the Zone). Survive against the mutants, factions, bandits, radiations and not to forget, the anomalies and even the weather
@4:28 you left out the part where you give the Icon to Mikay, get the nice AR and use it to shoot him in the face, take the Icon back and return it to the quest giver for the reward...and you call yourself a Stalker.... PS, you can get a key from Mikay and loot all the things in his shack.
I was going to do this, but after retrieving the icon and bringing it back to get his rifle, he was skewered by a boar, killed the boar, looted his stuff, then turned in icon lol. Thought it was a cool random use of A-Life 2.0
It's because the world doesn't reset. Once you loot something. It's looted forever. The only thing that spawns out of nowhere. By the way our stalkers are enemies
Be careful with upgrading weapons though, as it cost more to repair and does stack so only start with weapons you are intending to keep. (excusing skifs pistol - upgrade that immediately and keep it IMO until mid / late game)
I haven't seen any channel talking about the fact that literally once you exit the main prologue, you can head on to the Cordon region(from de SouthEast corner of the Lesser, and get an early AS Lavina, an SPSA, a Buket, the SPECIAL AK74U, a High capacity attachment for the AR, Military Body Armor, artifact and a bunch of goodies.
For any1 that wants to know how to glitch money at a vendor SPOILER Buy up all their bandages, when you have like 30,40,50 in your inventory, place them all into your sell window, and drag them back into your inventory where it shows "remove one, all or cancel. You just leave that window open and click at the bottom on confirm for selling them and after the trader has them in the inventory you just click on remove all on the window thats still open and it will place all the sold bandages back into your inventory to be sold again. Better do this fast until they patch it
I got a Gp37 assault rifle pretty early. I went to the spot where you find the bandit armor. I stayed and fought enemies that seemed to randomly spawn every time I went to the underground section. I did this like 5 times ( must have been 20 enemies total) I finally looted all the enemies and found it.
little tip if you want the unknown stalkers ar416 and to get paid except the gun and then kill the guy who gave it to you to retrieve the icon and then you get the gun and paid
There a really easy infinite money glitch to do with the vendors so ammo doesn't ever have to be an issue unless you are weird and don't want to cheat lol
If you want to cheat, cheat. It's your game and your experience. But i suspect that you will get a lot of the "You not only cheated the game but..." crowd in here. As a 42 year old, let me tell you I have done a crazy amount of cheating in games during the lase 80s and early 90s. And I would never have finished Fire Force on Amiga if not for infinite lives.

Hey, great video. I have a question. I have noticed that my default armor have 85-90% of durability from hours of playing, yet the new armors I get, the more powerful they are, they also drop durability much faster (withing hour or so of combat) so is it really worth finding more powerful armor? Also the armor from military base I only played with it for one hour and its already 85% and it costs 4000 currency to repair (only 15%!!) and from all my playthrough (8 hours total) I have only 4000 money. So I dont get it.. why is it worth playing with better armor if it wears out so quickly?
For everyone that are having trouble moving consumables into the stash.. you have to push L stick in.. or R stick. Then it allows you to move everything else into the stash.. not a bug.. 👍👍👍
I honestly didnt think I'd enjoy this game, but after only a few hours into this wasteland I'm hooked. Having not played a stalker game before I've been reluctant to just explore because i assumed that venturing off the beaten path leads you to areas you shouldnt be in early in the game. Some games penalize you for exploring. Looks like I was wrong.

Sure, some games penalize you but that’s literally the entire point of the VAST majority of RPG’s 😂 especially ones like this where it’s on a completely different tier than “baby rpg’s” like the fallout games and shit like that(and before I get children rushing to run their mouth; I’m not hating on Bethesda games at all. I’ve always loved them since I was a kid and played fallout 3 for the first time when I was 10 years old l o l then went back and played the absolute SHIT out of Morrowind to the point where I have a couple thousand hours now. But that still doesn’t change the fact that they’re VERY tame rpg’s and much easier compared to a lot of others). Exploring everything is the entire point of open world RPG’s; the literal ONLY “penalty” that could even happen would be that you’d have to return to some areas in the future for missions or whatever if you already explored them; or going early might mean that the gear you find is worse than it would be later on specifically for games with gear that scales with your level but that’s IT
I'm not sure if this is an xbox thing or due to the update, but I couldn't put most of my stuff in the safe. It wouldn't transfer. I ended up just dumping most of my stuff on the floor. When I came back later, most of the better guns were gone but there was one left. warning - if you drop stuff on the floor don't do it standing right in front of the safe. I had a health kit and several items drop beneath the safe and I couldn't get to them. When I tried only the "search" safe icon popped up interfering with getting the other items back. Doing it this way I did get most of my stuff back, but not the nice guns i had collected.
I think you risk the npcs scooping them up maybe that’s the lore behind it and maybe it’s supposed to happen it would make sense considering stalkers are looters so anything not locked up is fair game
The safe tick didn't work for me in the prologue. Put everything in there and initiated the cut seen but when I went back to the safe it was empty... maybe I forgot to close the door to the safe and someone took it all?
Cool stuff, I was wondering what kind of gun that guy was gonna give for that religious item. Glad it was just an AR416 lol. 90% of the stuff here I found by myself already. All but the armor in garbage. Think ill head there after work and pick it up before I head further in. I killed a bunch of military in the lesser zone and got some military armor from one of them instead. I found the sniper AK pretty early on and its been carrying me for awhile. Got the boom stick. Got a AR416 just not the one from that side quest. I've had two opportunities to make selfish decisions and so far I've been on the "good" path lol There is a guy in garbage's town who dropped his gun off a wall into some water and he asks you to fetch it for him. Its another upgraded AK. I gave it back to him for nothing in return, but you can just walk off with it.... lol
Better yet, the stalker is kind of a bad person, leading people to their deaths in the poppy field and looting them, so you can give the icon to him for the gun, kill him and pick it back up, and give it to the quest giver for the coupons
I want to get this game, but I want to wait till they iron out the game breaking bugs first. Glitches I can live with, but quests that don’t work properly is where I have to draw the line.
Idk I play both sides the entire time, accept and complete all "alternative deals" within the quests then kill the quest giver and reward yourself with the best of both worlds. What could go wrong haha
When you get attacked by the bloodsucker try to find the spot from where he does not attack you anymore, Stop moving and look around and if you got lucky that you saw the last spot where he stopped you can see him and kill him from a saver distance without being attacked by him.
The prologue stash doesnt seem to work fully. I did it last night and the two rifles i put in there despawned, however everything else i put in stayed.
@@badspyv1nce528 ones with weight are good but if it has a red weak for radiation balance it out with a green weak or better radiation one...otherwise u will always build up radiation ...defense is useless I realized..
Tried moving all my loot to the safe at the start and all i could move across was some wepons i had and the jacket, the ammo and consumables etc would physically not allow me to move across. Is this happening for anyone else? Im on xbox series x

I've found a couple of PDA's by now, and I figure that picking up a PDA puts an instance on the map of a secret stash that that stalker owned, right? So, what happens if you sell those PDA's before going for the stash? Still there? You only need to 'unlock it' once?
The ARbis not worth it. The money to repair it is way too much. Just wait... you will find others later. The AK from the quest before should be fine until midgame.

I try to put ammo and med kits,water in that safe before I loose it all before the prologue and it won't let me only weapons for some reason.
You open up the option menu on each item and press put all down for each thing

I noticed that even with decent defense artifacts and armor on normal..the enemies still do crazy damage.. thinking it's another dumbass bug

It does work, high end rifles just don't carry over. It's not a bug it's a feature meant to make it not too easy at the start.

It's not a bug.. on xbox you have to click the L stick and then you can put everything else in a stash.. its Lstick or R stick to switch equipment..

I've found a couple of PDA's by now, and I figure that picking up a PDA puts an instance on the map of a secret stash that that stalker owned, right? So, what happens if you sell those PDA's before going for the stash? Still there? You only need to 'unlock it' once?
Seems to be the case. I sold all the PDAs and notes.
