Pyrex actually made lids for Corning Ware, JoAnn. Pretty sure the red can was one used in a Texaco station, probably for water to put in an overheated radiator!! "You can trust your car to the man who wears the star, the big bright Texaco star!" I bet someone reading that will be singing it. I think Texaco use to sponsor the Milton Berle show.
Turns out the can is a vintage Savory watering can. I found a perfect match when I did a Google lens search for it. Thanks for the tip on the Pyrex lids. Hugs.
What a fantastic haul! So many treasures and I have several favorites hard to choose. The curio display case will look great for Kaitlyn's room ! The classroom map I really love and would be a fantastic focal point to make that the center of starting your decorating and hanging it the way you are thinking will look good too. Hi Joanne, I cannot wait to see Katelyn’s room. I really like the brass watering can but, that clock is to die for, I love it. Lucky, lucky find. See if you can find a small ceramic lid from a trinket box or a small butter pat plate. These often have lovely pictures on them and you can stick them over that sports medallion. Bleach works good huh…I never tell people I use it because they get all strange but bleach is emulsified chlorine. Chlorine exists as a gas so if you rinse well the chlorine will disparate back into a gas as the item dries and sterilises to boot. That is why it is so important for you to have a ventilated room. Believe it or not, bleach is use in the food industry as well, at least here in the US. If you rise it well enough and wash it really well afterwards, then cleaning with bleach isn't an issue. At least not to me anyway. And it works great. Hugs.

You could glue a piece of felt on it, or not..I'd just leave it. I'd put that brass 3 shelves display in her room with some Harry Potter figurines. I miss your fur babies. Hope they all are OK. I checked out Google to verify the information... Pyrex, Corelle, and Corning Ware were all brands produced by Corning Glass. According to the information I read, Corning just manufactures glass for industrial purposes these days. Corelle and Pyrex are now manufactured by Corelle Brands in Charleroi, PA. If you ever get up to the southern tier of NY, the Corning Glass Museum is a very interesting place. lts right in downtown Corning. My husband and I went there many years ago.
Love the Texaco can, you're right, I bet someone snaps that up right away. Just FYI, if you do go looking for a shed feather, don't post video of it on here--possession of feathers is against the Migratory Bird Act and you could get in trouble.
