  • We installed over one thousand amp hours of ‪@battlebornbatteries‬ and to help keep them topped off we also installed over twelve hundred watts of solar. Our RV is ready to go anywhere. This system will now give us 30amp service everywhere we go, even while on the move.
    We hired Echo One Adventures a mobile power upgrade company located in Albuquerque New Mexico. Echo One Adventures was able to come out to the campground we were staying at and install this power house of a system.
    This system is believed to be a one in a kind Battle Born Battery install using two different types of Battle Born Batteries. We have three Game Changers that power all of our 120 volt system such as air conditioner & microwave. We also have two 100 amp Battle Born Batteries which will power all of our 12 volt systems like water pump and lights. This gives us a combined total of over one thousand amp hours in our RV.
    We have been testing the system and so far we can easily run our A/C for thirteen hours.
    We now have power and connivence like never before

      Thank you! We are loving this setup. We are currently out boondocking in the Arizona desert using the airfryer, AC and microwave. Really roughing it 🤣

    Hello Kenney, I enjoyed your video about your new batteries. This is first video that I seen that covers scenario where a person might start out with type of battery amp hours then wants upgrade to a larger amp hour battery pack.
    Personal for me, I like videos that shows a person fixing or making changes to their RV. If you can, keep making those types of videos.

      Hi Mark, Battle Born Batteries & Echo One Adventures believes we are the first to mix battery amp hours. The only reason it. Old be done is because the two battery banks are separated from each other as far as the way they are charged and discharged. Both Battle Born and Echo One strongly discourage mixing amp hour batteries if they are being charged and discharged together, because a battery monitor and bms would not be able to distinguish when the batteries are fully charged due to different full capacities. Hopefully I did not make that more confusing then it needed to be

    Very good video. It's good to know the installers are customizing each install.

      Yes we spent some time on the phone with Jordan before the install as well as several emails to make sure we were on the same page. Jordan was great in the fact that he told us what was a good idea and what he would recommend or not recommend to do.

    Good access location for the components.

      Hey Haywood, yes, I like having all of the components in one spot and having everything under the bed like this made access easy and very neatly done with no exposed wires or cables

    Looks great, we installed 420AH of LiFePo4 batteries 2 years ago, now I am thinking about upgrading our solar, which is currently 4 100 watt panels installed by the previous owner of our Safari Trek in 2015.

      Hey Ike, I think now is a good time to upgrade solar as the panels now take a smaller footprint and collect more power. I would definitely look into seeing how much you can get using the same space on the roof

      @@MovingForwardAdventures Kenney, how many watts of solar do you have now?

    • @MovingForwardAdventures
      @MovingForwardAdventures  Рік тому +1

      Mark, we have 1200 watts of solar going to the 3 gamechangers under the bed and a 100 watt panel going to the 2 100 amp batteries under the stairwell. Ideally I would have liked a 200 watt panel for them as well, but it wouldn't fit. As of now that 100 watt panel is keeping up with what we use those batteries for.

    Love my split system, though I went 24v/12v.

    Aren't you guys going to have a problem with the noise from the fans and switches while sleeping in your bed above?

    • @MovingForwardAdventures
      @MovingForwardAdventures  Рік тому

      Hi, I (Kenny) am a very heavy sleeper, so nothing wakes me, but even if I wasn't we can't hear anything happening under the bed. Sabrina is a very light sleeper and everything wakes her, but she doesn't hear anything from the system either while sleeping. It's even pretty quiet with the bed open.
      I might be able to do a UA-cam short on this subject.

    What did you do with the OEM inverter? Did you have to re-wire the receptacles it served?

    • @MovingForwardAdventures
      @MovingForwardAdventures  4 місяці тому

      Hi Steve, we left it in place and set it up as a pass-through. Not the most efficient way, but much cheaper and easier than re-wiring the receptacles

    nice, what was the cost?

    • @MovingForwardAdventures
      @MovingForwardAdventures  Рік тому +2

      Hey VANSLAM, with parts and labor, we paid 12,500, but that is a discounted price. I believe with no discounts it would have been closer to 18,000
