Silly me. I got 2.2% - 2.7% pay raises on Active Duty, so after 21 years of military service, during 3 wars, and a grand total of 63% in pay raises (rounding up to 3% annually) and all I had to do was follow orders, including dying for my Nation if necessary. Had I just moved some cargo, maybe I would have been more valued.
Do they allow soldiers to strike? Police? Teacher? Any gain from striking all together is not fair. Just like if top companies can collude to set product prices, easily your prescriptions drug can be 10x more expensive

USMX price gauged the containers. prior to the pandemic containers were $3,000 to $6,000. During pandemic upcharged $30,000 to $40,000. People dont realize thats where inflation came from. The raise the union asked is less than 1% of the shipping companies profit. My post gets taken down when ive mentioned this in other channels.. its like they dont want us to know the truth and keep fighting among ourselves

It's more like a 7% yearly increase in wages for the next six years. The last four years have to be considered. Their wages did not keep up with inflation making their hourly rate significantly less than other Americans who had their wages adjusted.
