I love how the writers ends Oscar's storylines, resurrected the main roots of the Quartermaine, outstanding, it's heartbreaking to see him gone, thank you Oscar you did a tremendously excellent job on this show, thank you for sharing your talents with the whole world, may God guide you, you have your whole future ahead of you, thank you, wish you the best, thank you video peoples always did a great job, thanks for sharing.
I was so moved by this episode. The touching eloquent part of the show is when, Oscar sees his loved ones moving on. Joss graduating, Kim bringing new lives as a physician, etc., then Ned and Olivia is happily telling Monica that she’s going on holiday with them. The smile on Oscars face says that he was ready to move on, so that his loved ones can. I was in tears watching Lila and Edwards figures waiting for Oscar to join them. The kiss he gives Joss, and she felt it wow. This whole episode was just stunning. It wasn’t your typical deathbed scene in soaps. It was beautiful. Welcome back GH writers, we have missed you

this was heartbreaking to watch. loved that people can relate to losing someone they love to cancer, an absolute tragedy. oscar will truly be missed. i wish garren well in his future endeavors❤️
The most heartbreaking part was when Oscar passed away, and Kim felt him die like she just shook and asked Drew if he felt that in his body also. They were so close. R.I.P Oscar😔
Been a loooooooong time since GH pulled at my heartstrings like this. The tears are real! It was beyond touching to have Edward and Lila meeting Oscar. Wow. Heartbreaking.
So sad. . I thought when Oscar was feeling better oh yeah but then I realized it was a dream then I started to cry. I wished it turned out different but it was a good storyline.
I was doing pretty good UNTIL Drew carried Oscars body out to the stretcher and the song “Get back home” played ...lost it. I think I cried as bad as Kim was. Very touching scene.
I was so sad when Oscar died I was hoping something happened I hope he has a wonderful life that young man he's a great actor sure going to miss it why I was hoping it was a miracle

I haven’t seen such a heartwarming episodes like these, in a very long time. I was balling my eyes out for 2days straight. Oscar is gonna be missed, I hope they bring back the actor. Even if he’s another character. Just like they did with Syles/Finn.
I am going to miss Oscar. I hope that the future will be bright for Garren. I am also hoping that things will not be so sad for a while after this loss.
I don't usually cry watching this show. And I've been watching for a while now. Of course it's thanks to my grandmother, but they did me in with this episode. I'm still crying like he was my child.

In real life there isn't always a happy ending. I'm glad General Hospital choose a realistic approach to this storyline. Will miss Oscar. Well done.
The beginning of the episode made me euphoric,really hoped they pulled a soap miracle..And when it turned..i cried like i haven't cried in a long time over a soap opera episode. This episode provoked such a rollercoaster of intense emotions,i can't even explain. Briliant acting as well,in this entire storyline,from Joss and Oscar.
I feel bad for the Quartermaine family,I don't know why that one family has lost so many people.There was something special when Oscar and Joss both came on the show 2 years ago. 💞💗
I haven't cried like this since Emily's death my goodness it's so sad and when Drew carried oscars dead body brought back when Jason carried his sister Emily's dead body so sad and the actors and gh did really great with this storyline
Heartbreaking scenes. Joss got to talk to Zio Sonny he reallly understands. It was Heartbreaking every year when he had to attend Ball after STONE each yr.💔
This episode was a tease I was actually thinking Oscar got rid of his tumor and then reality set in at the end. Real sad but RIP Oscar was hoping for a happy ending for him as today was a good break from the Shiloh storyline which is about to get real scary coming up.

@@xpieerd Yeah exactly this episode really was all over the place. It was in the back of my mind but I didn't want to believe that it could be a dream. He could've easily survived it and then yep reality set in. I got mixed emotions about it but it's not a big deal. It's just things are about to get really intense with the Shiloh storyline and this would've been a good way to breathe before the storm hits.
My granddaughter told me it was a wrap! I thought he was healed! No more good! They should get rid of the stupid cult line. I'm done till they end that story line
I cried ONCE at a soap opera death way back in the 70s..this time, I surprise myself by feelnig myself holding back the tears the chills I can do nothing about..also found it greusome and heartbeakig seeing Drew carry Oscar down those stairs and onto that gurney..this was extremely well done.......
Terri Loper Cam’s scene was so powerful when he broke down in the stairway. He put on a good act for Liz when she told him. Once he left he lost it, and so did I, again.

I actually missed this particular episode because it was pre-epted here in East TN due to a fire. But I made the mistake of watching the beginning on the next day right before I went to work. I was in tears my entire shift. I was absolutely RATTLED!
Beach Bunny that’s the sad part. They could have kept the original Valerie and given her more of a storyline too. I was wondering why she didn’t get more airtime during the Ryan\Kevin storyline. At least to partner up with Chase. Now they are doing it with the new Valerie.

I always find it odd how, whenever people go into the Quartermaine crypt to reminisce and talk to the deceased gravestones, they never mention Justus Ward, even though his tomb is right there in full view of the screen. Does Monica just not like him or something lol? I wasn't watching the show back when he was alive on the show, but I know he and Monica were on the show at the same time, so I assume they must have had some sort of relationship.
That’s a good question. Justus was the illegitimate son of Edward. I don’t remember Monica having issues with him. Lila didn’t have any issues with Mary or Justus. Maybe she doesn’t bring his name up because she’s focusing on the people who she was closest to. Her in-laws, Alan and her children
@@jenbranker4775 I get that. It just appears awkward to always have his tomb so directly in-frame and never discuss him. I know that they can't really reorganize the tombs, but if they never want to mention him, perhaps his tomb should be repositioned so as not to be so awkwardly ignored.

i wld agree but this stupid cult storyline is just heating up since it now appears its gonna take twists n turns that encompass Willow who is in fact nina's daughter....who believes she n shiloh are the parents brad's baby....n although it has not been revealed yet i believe Alexis's new psychiatrist assisting with Kristina is actually willow's father.
i found it very depressing and really dnt think it wld end this way.....the character/actor was so well cast n he n jos had such great chemistry.....when the faceless women spirit appeared n touched his chest n his cancer appeared to go in2 remission.....i thought they were wrapping up the storyline with a happy ending....foolish me.....45mins in when he told josh it was time for him to go home.....i then realized it was all a dream n the end was near......talk about a tear jerker......by the end of the episode i was screaming n balling like a baby for almost 15mins.....dnt recall ever being so moved by a TV death......i did not even bother tuning in today.....but kudos to both young actors(jos/oscar)....they were both well cast n talented n gave award winning performances....
@@xpieerd i dnt think u r alone there.......i really thought they wld keep him around....soaps are a dying breed....it wld seem to me if you have a character that is well cast n popular with the viewers y screw with it....oscar n jos were very well cast n had a great on-screen chemistry....i really like them together...i think they will now put jos with cam but they dnt have the same on screen chemistry...currently i am not a fan of any of the recasts.....the show really can not afford to have viewers taking a break as they just may not return..
Oscar was a good actor. I"am sure everyone will agree. Its sad to see him go, when that shilo with Dod is still there and so boring. No offence but they should of took him instead.....🎻

I am so sad. But it's beautifully written and acted.I am comforted to know or at least hope that some one that had passed on before me would help me to go home. I also, like that we got to see Oscar show Joss his way home and his sweet good bye.
It's strange I used to hate these last minute miracle cures but I'm sooo disappointed they didn't have one for this thier was so much to Oscar's character that could have been explored hhhhggggg!!! Ill remember him as a wasted story line but went out like a true soap start
When Monica named everyone Alan, aj, Lila, Edward how come she didn't name Emily ? Wasn't her plaque on there too I was just curious although I'd love for gh to make it where Emily is alive but probably won't happen

Truthfully, Oscar's character wasn't one I thought needed to be on GH, but his exit is quite sad...the actor did a nice job. Touching ending.

As far as I can remember Monica didn’t have any issues with Justus, outside of how the revelation of Edward’s affair with Mary Mae hurt Lila.

Justus wasn’t always accepted by the Quartermaine. Edward regretted it later on.

i wld agree but this stupid cult storyline is just heating up since it now appears its gonna take twists n turns that encompass Willow who is in fact nina's daughter....who believes she n shiloh are the parents brad's baby....n although it has not been revealed yet i believe
Alexis's new psychiatrist assisting with Kristina is actually willow's father.
i found it very depressing and really dnt think it wld end this way.....the character/actor was so well cast n he n jos had such great chemistry.....when the faceless women spirit appeared n touched his chest n his cancer appeared to go in2 remission.....i thought they were wrapping up the storyline with a happy ending....foolish me.....45mins in when he told josh it was time for him to go home.....i then realized it was all a dream n the end was near......talk about a tear jerker......by the end of the episode i was screaming n balling like a baby for almost 15mins.....dnt recall ever being so moved by a TV death......i did not even bother tuning in today.....but kudos to both young actors(jos/oscar)....they were both well cast n talented n gave award winning performances....
Chase Jackson it was just as sad today. They were all crying and telling everyone the news. Might give this show a break for a month or so.
@@xpieerd i dnt think u r alone there.......i really thought they wld keep him around....soaps are a dying breed....it wld seem to me if you have a character that is well cast n popular with the viewers y screw with it....oscar n jos were very well cast n had a great on-screen chemistry....i really like them together...i think they will now put jos with cam but they dnt have the same on screen chemistry...currently i am not a fan of any of the recasts.....the show really can not afford to have viewers taking a break as they just may not return..

Oscar was a good actor. I"am sure everyone will agree. Its sad to see him go, when that shilo with Dod is still there and so boring. No offence but they should of took him instead.....🎻

I am so sad. But it's beautifully written and acted.I am comforted to know or at least hope that some one that had passed on before me would help me to go home. I also, like that we got to see Oscar show Joss his way home and his sweet good bye.
It's strange I used to hate these last minute miracle cures but I'm sooo disappointed they didn't have one for this thier was so much to Oscar's character that could have been explored hhhhggggg!!! Ill remember him as a wasted story line but went out like a true soap start
