Damn 2025 and people still think changing Antistrophic Filtering will boost your FPS haha 🤦♂️🤦♂️ leave it x16 god dammit , from all the settings it is the least demanding one LOL
Lowering Anisotropic Filtering (AF) can boost FPS, especially on older or low-end GPUs. AF improves texture clarity at angles but uses GPU power. Lowering it (e.g., from 16x to 4x or Off) can give a noticeable FPS boost on weaker systems, though the impact is minor on modern GPUs. If you're struggling with FPS, reduce AF as part of your settings adjustments for better performance, but textures may look blurrier at a distance.
You lost me at upscale mode. At this point, you just as well might lower resolution and spare yourself from additional response lag. Granted, this is not a competitive multiplayer game, but reliance on this tech brings out the worst in game developers. If my game is unplayable without upscaling, I am not playing it.
