The HUPEJOS 4-Channel dash cam has a resolution of 4*1080P and can record all four channels simultaneously, which can be displayed on the main frame. I’m looking to buy this camera. If you had to do it over, would you buy the same camera? Does the video upload to the iPhone app? Or do I need to put the SD card into my computer? What is the video resolution like?
These types of gizmo are hit or miss. I wasn't looking to spend a lot of money and wanted full coverage all around so it suited my need. You can download them with your iPhone, so no need to take out the SD card. Also each camera takes the shots separately. The stiched look is really only on the cam screen. In the video I stiched it together, so do keep that in mind. Resolutions are ok, I mean for continuous recording from four channel you have to understand they will need to be compressed heavily. Hook everything up without actually running it through your car and see if you like the video quality. If not return it 🙂

There is a parked recoding uption. I never tried it. You would probably need a higher capacity micro SD card than the 128GB that comes in the box to retain longer periods of videos. Also does your cigarette lighter cut off powere after turning off the car, and if so, you'll need to consider another method or line in directly from the fuse box but know that it will drain your car's battery. You can see from your phone (tested on iPhone) since it's wifi enabled, and you'll need to consider the range. 5ghz has high bandwidth, great for video, but has shorter range than 2.4ghz.

@@alexandergalvez2161 I'm assuming you're curious about 24/7 coverage with constant power. This is the wire you'll need amzn.to/3UGbfyw and you'll find it with 1 star review because the reviewer didn't know their version wasn't compatible. That said, I have this kit with radar (amzn.to/3MKM0t5) but have not yet installed so I can't tell you how well it works. I'll make a video of that hopefully soon.
The main camera is about half covered with on screen info about the device. It shows up a few seconds after turning it on. How do you get that off the screen?
I honestly just learned to live with it. I am curious though so I'll find out and let you know.
How do i get it to record continuously? Im only getting snippets of videos recorded. If i can't figure this out it will be returned.
Most if not all will do snippets because it needs to know when memory is about to run out which video to delete that's older and may no longer be needed.
So how does the memory work? Do you have to turn it on every day? Is it on 24//7? Does it delete everyday? Can the video footage be moved to your phone device?
The videos are chunked and as you get close to full memory usage, it will delete the oldest video unless a video is locked by device assuming you're on an accident or you locked it manually. Of course, if you're on a long journey, you can certainly backup on your phone without removing SD card. The app for iPhone works well. Android one cannot be found in play store.

please can you Review the parking mode with the hardwire cable? when you use the parking mode the camara turn off when you are away but if something hits or pass by te car the camara turns on and then turn off / and thi scamara motion detector? sorry theres more questions but can you help me out how the parking mode works and what features has than you.
Hi, sorry I missed your comment. Did you get the parking mode version? The unit is the same but you need the cable that taps into a fuse for constant power.
Yes and I installed the fuses in the the fuse box and I activated the parking mode you hardwired you dsshcam?
@@lalok9912 if you tapped the right fuses, meaning batt, acc, ground then put the cam in park mode it should automatically wake up opon car motion detection. I tested mine by moving it with my body from the driver side from outside of the car.
@@ClearLooks yes but the parking motion only works if yoy pass in fron of your car or it depends where the sensor is

How do you turn off the beeping alarm sound when by car/open door?
I want to change it to silent.

The light is a bit obnoxious as well if anyone knows how to turn these off while camera still functions I would be grateful. I have the screen covered but it would be great if we can just keep the screen off unless you need to review video.

"Hi,friend Short press the "M" button, select "Playback", in file mode, long press the "M" button, enter the menu, select "Volume" for volume adjustment."
It does seem like it's working, sort of.
There's a sound when you get in after it's been off for awhile but it's much quieter.

How do you install the rear cam to the suction? It doesn’t fit anywhere
I used the adhesive pad instead and attached it to the rear dome light.

Sorry about the late reply. I know Android app was yanked from the Play Store, but not from Apple AppStore. Not sure why. I just do it manually by taking out the card or use my wife's iPhone.
Will it work with wifi in the car..and is it compatible with anxroid phones
Wifi is for your phone to connect to it so you can download videos directly. I found the app is missing from Android store at the time of testing. I haven't used that feature, frankly. I just take out the SD card and import it to my laptop.
Does the inside camera record audio because I plan on using this while doing Uber/Lyft ?
Yes it does. The sound you hear from the video is from the camera recording. You can turn on/off the mic as needed.

So my camera isn't recording anymore it has a black screen and I went to playback mode and it's just not responding anymore.

The way it's advertised it looks like the small cameras rotate to get 360 , but that's not true you have to place them where you want them

This dash cam is working for few months after that I don’t know it stop completely

There are different models and options. You need to get those as a module or as a separate package. I didn't care for it so I didn't get it.
I guess you can't watch what's going on in your car from your phone you must be in a Wi-Fi location
Remotely, no not what it's meant for, especially since it doesn't have a persistent wifi connection like ring.
