- Dream big and shoot for the stars! They say that even if you miss you'll land on the moon, and Larry Sidney couldn't agree more. Adults often lose the ability to dream, to take chances, to really go for what they want. Larry’s experience in qualifying for the Olympics at age 46--and that of his 6 year-old son and his dreams--tells him that maybe some folks just need a gentle nudge. A dual-sport National Team athlete for Israel, Larry competed in Skeleton from 2014-2018 and Curling from 2018 to present. When not competing on ice, Larry is a Holistic Financial Adviser, helping businesses and families create their optimal retirement plan. Larry earned his MBA from UC Berkeley and undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut. At home, he is the father of 2 boys, Lucas (6) and Marcus (4), and husband to his amazing wife Kerstin. Larry, your courage and audaciousness in this inspirational talk proves that we can all do more. Many of us hesitate to achieve our goals because we are afraid of taking that next step. There is always more we can do. Thank you for motivating me to get off the couch!

Sensational talk, a must see for anyone who harbors big dreams and competitive athletic goals, OR who currently feels stuck in fear and uncertaintly about pursuing those goals. The talk draws you in immediately with a powerful opening statement, and how can anyone not be captivated when Larry lays down on the skeleton sled on stage WHILE dellivering the presentation!!!! This talk is also super-impactful for parents, as Larry brings in the hopes and dreams of his young son, and the tendency today's helicopter/lawnmower parent has to try and protect kids from disappointment and failure by tamping down unrealistic dreams.
