Fun tips, This is not fully tested but it works 4 out of 7 gameplays, not totally consistence effectiveness, the game has a sane meter so you get note as a paranoid employee the only employee can see her the cause seeing her is, you always watch your back or always flicking your mouse or most of it getting scared, you need buy a shower to your ship, then if the girl followed you in the ship just get shower and the girl disappear. Btw the girl will show even in the outside but only on full moon, half moon, or eclipse but not yet seen her at rainy or stormy. In order to avoid little girl at early enter in the room, you can also shower first then you can wonder around for 3 minutes, im not totally sure how long it is but it works for me. This is my only gameplay with my friends. I dont know if it totally work to others but I just want to share. you can comment if theres other ways to get rid of HER.
I dont believe it's cuz of sanity, there were times where i saw the little girl immediately as i spawned and when you die the little girl immediately stalks the next person. she is also incredibly slow so you can train her in circles if you'd like. For me the best way to get rid of her is to just close the door when you notice her, breaking line of sight through doors seemed to work for me, and also jumping on a highground like railings or shelves and such since she cant climb or reach you.
I personally don't think the ghost girl is Jess, but when I first typed the names of Sigurd's crew and got the "missing creature data" error for Jess I thought maybe the terminal thought I was trying to write Jester instead, and since I hadn't encountered the Jester that's why I got the missing data message

I guess I am lucky that she was only outside the ship for me. Was super unsettling because I saw her skipping out in the snow storm the entire time
