This exact thing happened to me except we had launched and the doors closed, she got me seconds before end of round screen with me yelling “LITTLE GIRL” before brain blast.
I died the same way in that exact same spot, I know how he feels. She only haunts one person and only that person can see her.

@@ZackShark1She haunts one at a time, nobody else will see the girl and nobody else will be interacted with until the person dies at which point she haunts someone else (i.e. the girl doesn't kill the people who can't see her or mess with their flashlights)
When she haunts [(of a ghost) manifest itself at (a place) regularly], nobody else (none of the other players in the match) will be able to see, hear, touch, or otherwise be effected by her. She will eventually switch targets if she is able to kill that initial person, and will subsequently re-target each individual player until all players are gone.@@originalname5096

Fun tips, This is not fully tested but it works 4 out of 7 gameplays, not totally consistence effectiveness, the game has a sane meter so you get note as a paranoid employee the only employee can see her the cause seeing her is, you always watch your back or always flicking your mouse or most of it getting scared, you need buy a shower to your ship, then if the girl followed you in the ship just get shower and the girl disappear.
Btw the girl will show even in the outside but only on full moon, half moon, or eclipse but not yet seen her at rainy or stormy.
In order to avoid little girl at early enter in the room, you can also shower first then you can wonder around for 3 minutes, im not totally sure how long it is but it works for me.
This is my only gameplay with my friends. I dont know if it totally work to others but I just want to share.

Such a good game for real, managing to make everyone in the room so terrified like an actual horror game/movie. And portraying that feeling, that actual horrific feeling into a multiplayer game of all things

So, some tips for those who don’t know. Spoilers ahead if you want to learn on your own.
The little girl is a ghost, basically. She will choose one person to haunt (only that person can see her) and will occasionally show up and watch them from the darkness. They will know this because they either see her or hear her creepy as hell noises, like breathing and giggling. This can happen inside and outside the building. You are not safe outside. If you see her, your life is on an egg timer at that point. The first time you see her, it’s a warning. She’s just letting you know that you are her target. The second time you see her is your sign that the borrowed time you have is running out. The third time you see her is your last warning.
The fourth time you see her, she will stay standing there for a period of time that seems random. I don’t know how it is decided yet. After this period, she will begin skipping towards her target in an attempt to kill them. If she succeeds, the target’s head pops off in an absolutely savage display as seen in the video. That’s all anyone else will see. Granted, the target will usually inform their comrades that they have seen the little girl, so they won’t be totally clueless as to the cause of their death.
Should the little girl fail, however, the target is given a very short grace period to GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE. She will reappear again, repeating the cycle of the fourth sighting - standing there staring at the target, then skipping towards them for the kill, and either succeeding or failing (failure will result in another cycle repeat, with another short grace period.).
The best option is to stay until the third sighting, and then grab whatever loot you have and leaving. If you feel ballsy, though, you can try to cheat death and avoid her as long as possible. However, this has a large likelihood to screw you over later, as other monsters, especially coil-heads, get in your way. I’ve been cornered between two coil-heads and a little girl before. It’s not fun.
Hope this helped anyone unaware of how the little girl works. If I got anything wrong, let me know.

I was playing with some friends and for a moment inside the building I saw a red object and i didn't know what the ghost girl was so i thought i imagined something like when you get a thing in your eye that covers part of it for a second, and i was afraid so my volume was low and I ignored the flashing lights but i only realized today that what i saw was the ghost girl cause before i thought the ghost girl was a community creation because its so rare but i survived lol.

the 3 paid maps are always slightly foggy but they have lanterns showing you where to go

I knew about the ghost girl already, but I hadn't encountered it yet. I was with a friend playing on titan, ghost girl appeared for the first time. Trying to desperately tell them I had ghost girl, with the game distorting your audio, is TERRIFYING.
