Komatsu India is subsidiary of Komatsu Ltd., established its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for Dump Truck in 2005 at Oragadam near Chennai to cater the demand of Off-Highway Dump Trucks in Indian mining market. Later in 2015, started expansion of its manufacturing facility to produce Hydraulic Excavators from 7ton to 50ton capacity. Komatsu India also have Reman facility, Central Parts Distribution warehouse and KOWA Laboratory for Oil Analysis in Nagpur. Komatsu is also pioneer in Industrial Machinery products and Machinery tools supplying to various automobile industries. Komatsu machines are backed by L&T's nationwide network of service centres and dealer outlets ensuring prompt and proactive after-sales service and parts support for its customers.
Following its global policy, Komatsu India thrive to deliver Dantotsu Products, Dantotsu Service and Dantotsu Solutions to create sustainable future. Respecting Indian Government policy on Carbon Neutrality, recently Komatsu India introduced Bio-Diesel compatible machines in mining and construction segment for the Indian market.
