In actual most of them are born in Traditional Player's Families and educated and destined to be a 'Master or Teacher of Each Instruments' So they might be started hard training from 3-4 years old. And them when they came up to middle school sure they found a variety of western music, and fortunately most Japanese families are rich enough to buy piano or electric guitars. So it is natural for them to make collaboration of both instruments. Sure this kind of experiment were made before with armature private level. But it is a epic to do it with real commercial professional level. (The lady is great, not only with performance but also with management and leadership) Ms.Suzuhara is coming from traditional family of Shigin Singers and educated to be a Master. and simultaneously studied Western Opera Singers and Piano course at first class expensive music collage. Their visual style almost reminds me of Visual Kei, they even have the designated crossdresser on Bass(Asa), the common VK trope. Anyways, I love the Shamisen and Bass solos here. All around great performance. I need to look into more of their discography though.
Actually Kurona(Wadaiko/Japanese drums) is/was* in a Visual Kei band, Crow×Class. *I'm not sure if the group is still active, there isn't much information on the English part of the internet and I don't know any Japanese, but they don't seem to be active since the early 2010's.
Problem with people these days is that they don't appreciate good music like this. They only listen to fake music. Now this is real music. I'd do anything to see these guys live.
