- Ukraine's former president Viktor Yushchenko says he hopes Europe will wake up to the threat posed by Russia in the wake of the poisonings in Salisbury.
Fourteen years ago Mr Yushchenko was taking on a presidential candidate favoured by Russia when he was poisoned with a dioxin, a toxic chemical.

Be sure to include that one of the suspects, the former deputy chief of Ukraine's security service, Volodymyr Satsyuk, fled to Russia after the poisoning and was later given citizenship along with two other suspects. And just like with the Litvinenko case, Moscow has refuse to extradite them.
Well my research shows that both Russia and the US. were driven by national interest and geopolitical power incentives to be get involved in the Ukrainian conflict. So in a nutshell both the US., Russia and even the EU. could be blamed. But that’s my opinion obviously. Everyone has a different perspective and it’s a rather complex situation.
