Hey man, thanks for sharing this. For me, it's cool to compare the Holden Caprice in your video to the Caprice PPV here in the US. I really like all of the extra bits on your car that the PPV doesn't get. Thanks again! -Chris
Three big fails for limo drivers: a) no rear cupholders (unless the entire middle section of the seat is folded down, which is inappropriate). The previous model had recessed pop-out cup holders in the bottom of the seat. b) the rear ash tray has been removed - we would use that for mints. c) no V6 option any more. The V6 is a nice compromise - it is smooth and quiet enough, whilst saving significantly on fuel cost.
I believe the cup holders were deleted in the series 2 update, but the series 1 WN definitely has the pop-out ones. I was surprised they deleted the tri-zone climate control in this model. The roof tunnel that previously contained the controls is still there, just blank and hollow. The same-year Chevy Traverse in the US has tri-zone and also rear seat USB charging ports, which all would have added to the impression of luxury. Nonetheless, still a beautiful and pleasant place to spend time in
Archie Gee only in the Caprice PPV there are videos on here with people saying they cannot get parts easily in the states because it is an Holden engine and yes I have a WN Caprice myself
