I am a 82 yr. old mom and grammie and God spoke to my
heart and was reminded to let others know that it isn't how many years one has left, but how one Iives their remaining years.
Shared with a senior lady she could get more in her life that is left here on earth than many who are much younger
and so busy and caught up in their fast paced lives
My prayer is they (the young) learn early to get in a pattern to start and end each day with God. TO ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW LOVED and VALUED THEY ARE!

My mom has dementia too and sometimes she makes me cry so I get it I am trying to remind myself that she is not herself 🤗🙏
But I also remember when my children were younger and I would loose my temper and later feel so bad for what I had done I have learned to I ask for forgiveness as well as forgive 🙏🙏🙏

Just because you forgive certain people it doesn’t meant that you should reconcile with them!! And I absolutely thank God every day for permanent divorce/no reconciliation ever /And permanent boundaries stay in place!! And I also thank God every day for my Singleness @Gateway Church

I think you're thinking of reconciling a different definition. We forgive them for they know not what they do in JESUS name because JESUS did on the cross ✝️ HE said it is mandated. It's great being Single but reconcile with yourself mentally so that If GOD brings you someone Your baggage from the abusive relationship will not come up in your new relationship.
Unfortunately I know a person who had a Mentally Abusive childhood then was in a mentally abusive marriage has junk that spews out when she doesn't notice. Again Respectfully her Eldest doesn't recall her nurturing him as a wee child. Not true but she doesn't recall that time. She miscarried alot back then. She knows she loved hugging him 🤗 so she think he's wrong. Thank GOD He has my family member in HIS Hand ... By the way I personally know that messed up family.
