Fantastic day for you guy's. Unfortunately we still have a snapper ban on in South Australia. I do have snapper tags that allow me to catch 5 to keep. I have to hand them in next month because i just can't get out to use them.
Yes mate, definitely! Yeah I saw you guys have a Snapper ban, hopefully it is worth it and the Snapper fishery does improve as a result. We had a 1 month closure for Snapper and Pearl Perch in QLD this year, even just that short break would have helped out local area a tiny bit I think. And yes that's the issue mate, finding time to go fishing that aligns with good weather! Life can get in the way sometimes sadly. Anyway mate tight lines and I hope you get out soon! 👍🎣

And yes the sea anchor is good, some days we wouldn't even be able to fish without it, it does make a big difference 🙌 just a pain in the butt having to pull it in full of water ever drift hahaha 😂 And yes we were on holidays up there but the weather wasn't great, still have a few good videos on the way though! Uni is going well mate, a few more weeks and I get a bit of time off for Summer, plenty of fishing in that period i hope 😁🎣
@@willkitching run a trip line of like 6mm or 8mm back from your float. Turns it inside out and then pull it in backwards. Some of the para anchor kits come setup with it.
@@willkitching you'll see my yellow trip line in all my videos and my heavy sinking braided rope to a shock absorber to a big snap hook on my para anchor. A marine trimmer copied the yellow/red one in a more stable UV resistant outdoor material on mine. ua-cam.com/users/blackfin15
The ratchet isn’t on mate, that’s just the sound the reel makes when you wind 👍 You can hear when those big sweetlip are making the drag scream there isn’t a ratchet sound, it’s just braid coming off the reel 😉🎣
