These are the rechargeable light bulbs from Neporal. These light bulbs can be screwed in to any standard light socket, but will not operate from the switch for that socket. They must be turned on and off using the included remotes, or with the buttons on the bulbs. These bulbs can be quite convenient in certain situations. They charge either via the socket when it has power, or can be taken out and charged via USB-C.
You can select one of 3 color temperatures or RGB mode, and the bulbs have adjustable brightness, as well as a timer that can be activated via the remote.

Nice light bulbs. I love the rainbow colors.

Very interesting product - I've never seen this before, so nice to see something innovative.
I like that they have their own batteries that will stay charged via AC mains power. This would be excellent in a power outage situation.
What I don't like is the double-on aspect. It would be better if they turned on to last used setting as soon as you flicked the light switch, and leave the button/remote business for when you want (or need) to run them off battery.
But overall, quite a useful thing I think. Probably won't last very long though (i.e. probably cheap Chinese crap)

I do agree, if they would come on with the light switch or remain in the last state when power was applied, it would be better. I don't like losing the function of a wall switch in exchange for a small remote than can be misplaced or easily break.
If I had even a quarter of the stuff I do now when we had an extended power outage for 9 days, back in 2012, I would have been that much more comfortable.
