Man, those speakers are going to be my next purchase. I own IIb's and 4.5's, but have ALWAYS wanted to hear the gammas/deltas. Amazing set up and equipment!
The gamma is hard to find, you have better luck getting the beta. I got a good bit of them Kappa 6, 6.1,kappa 9, renaissance 80,rs4, rsII, rs1b, Qe. No longer any of them are my main speakers but still used in my secondary set up The gamma is basically half a beta.
I'm the second owner of a pair of these, purchased in 2006 with McIntosh 501s and CJ Preamp Acoustic Zen silver cables and they sound fantastic. I would like to rebuild the emims & emits if anyone knows who does that? Thanks
Very beautiful system. I’m a proud owner of a big MartinLogan system, but I am very fond of Infinity, always been. You don’t see these big Infinity-systems very often these days, so this was like a fresh wind of air watching. Thank you 🙏🏽. Best Regards from Johan, an audiophile from Sweden.
Alle Achtung ❤!!! Klingt wahrscheinlich besser als in jedem Konzertsaal dieser Erde. Karajan würde auferstehen könnte er das hören!!! Ich möchte auch!!!!!!!! Liebe Grüße Christoph
The IRS Gammas were quite amazing speakers for their day considering their footprint. Though you could see and hear how much progress Infinity made in the following decade. If I were tempted to buy a vintage pair of Infinitys today, I'd try to find a nice original pair of IRS Sigma's or the rare IRS Omega's
Yes, I currently have an Accuphase C-2410. Great device!! It is currently being replaced by a C-2810! Previously I had a Mark Levinson No. 26, a secret TIP!! I had already tried Parasound and a few others before. Of course it was a different price range and of course couldn't even come close!
@@irsinfinityroesslersound563 hi thank you very much indeed for your kind and very valuable reply But i miss which preamp you think is the very best among those you have tried I love natural sound and great soundstage And it should be solid state Tubes are too complex for me
I got about 8 sets of nudells of which my biggest is the rs1b. It's hard to go away from the emims And emits .. The gamma is basically half a irs beta .. very nice speakers . Servo controlled low end
@@irsinfinityroesslersound563 reminds me of the Star Wars movie "The Force Awakens" where Rey and Finn are running away from stormtroopers in planes and they see an old plane that Rey calls garbage, and after the newer plane was blown up, she says "the garbage will do" (talking about the Millennium Falcon)
beautiful loudspeaker Infinite joy
Powerful and majestic - beautiful hardware.
Very nice!!! And with classic Mark Levinson monoblocks driving them!!
Great photography! Have loved my IRSBeta for 20+ years.
Massive musical natural sound!
Absolutely stunning speakers! I can't even imagine how beautiful they sound standing in the same room with them.
I think toeing in those amplifiers really helped the imaging... ;)

That's right a SUPER loudspeaker.
Thank you

Infinity and Altec Lansing sure did develop some amazing loudspeakers back in the day. If only you could find them today!
You CAN find them today....
Ahah you can it's just "open your wallet and dump all you got" to get them
The music is charming. So too the speakers. Never heard them sad to say, but I own Kappa9, Rs3a and Rs5b.
Awesome speaker technology.
Just closed your eyes , you found yourself in concert auditorium , amazing gear
Thanks!
I’ve contemplated rough edge stone for amp stands like you’ve got here.
Sounds fantastic and excellent selection to show them off.
Thanks
Stunning Gamma's plus Mark Levinson.....sweet. Plus your not playing horrible music like most high end demos.
In the seventies and eighties Infinity was maybe the top speaker manufacturer. My first speakers were the RSBs. The best I could afford at the time.
Mine were Infinity Monitor Jr.
Loved the dome mid and tweeter.
Thoroughly enjoying 7 Kappa's now!
Those are some nice speakers. Making this an all-in-one setup by including home theatre, is the way to go. Get as much use out of it as you can.

Beautiful set up! I love the music. What is it? I’d like to find it to play on my system. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks! CD from Audio Physic 25Jahre Turtle Records
Lárte Del Violino, Opera Omnia III: Concerto No. 5. Allegro-Cappricio
Many thanks!!! You’ve got some wonderful gear!! Wow 🎶
Sounds surprisingly good for an in room UA-cam video, but it still gets the undesirable room effects echo.
Finally got my hands on a copy of this disc!! Great dynamics, loving the sound!!
I would have missed out on it without this upload!!! Thank you sir!!
hi great sound indeed Are you using an Accuphase preamp ? which one ? have you tried anything else ?
Yes, I currently have an Accuphase C-2410.

I just got a pair....hope there good
The highs and upper mids are sublime.....the lows sound overpowering and not low enough....but gawd I would love a set of those.
Not low enough 😂
Very nice indeed ... 🎻
Thanks!!
Great sound and looks like brand new loundspeaker, where you can find them 🥰🥰🥰

Are those three EMIT top drivers open at the back side?
SEMIT and EMIT only play forward! An additional EMIT sits on the back of the gamma!
EMIM and LEMIM also play a certain part back! (Dipol
Sound exactly like my laptop speakers...
i bet those IRS speakers were a several thousand dollars?
Cute ☺️
Let's hear "Perfect Angel" by Minnie Ripperton.....please.
They sound just like my Boston Acoustics hooked up to my PC. 😜😜
i also bet your electric bill is a pretty penny ?
That's okay!
What was playing? I didn’t see the turntable going.
CD-Player TEAC VRDS-25X
I can't hear the "rave" of these speakers. Sounds like TV speakers.
Then you are hearing your own speakers. They sound incredible through my headphones.
If you make a comment like this , it's safe to conclude you need a different hobby
Garbage
For me the garbage is enough
