Devdas is the best movie ever. In the world. I am indonesian. Been seen this movie about 40 times and still counting. Aishwarya and Madhuri are the greatest indian actress ever. Btw.... Aishwarya's eyes are green. She was Miss World 1994 and i think the prettiest woman in the world. She also very friendly and patient.

I think you guys have some misconception they didn't sing during shooting..at first they recorded it by some famous singer and then they start shooting and this song not about marraige they dance in festival called durga puja..a very famous festival in India..😍
This is the same way of reacting when I watch kpop MV's and realising where the title of the song came in lyrics .
And also while pronouncing IDOL'S names.

plot of the film is :
The film is set in the early 1900s and follows Shah Rukh Khan as Devdas, a wealthy law graduate who returns from London to marry his childhood sweetheart, Paro, played by Aishwarya Rai. However, the rejection of this marriage by his own family sparks his descent into alcohol, ultimately leading to his emotional deterioration and him seeking refuge with a courtesan played by Madhuri Dixit.
somehow Madhuri Dixit meets Aishwarya Rai (paro) who is now married to a king and the one price who is in this sonf is her step son ...so kinda really age gap in cople ....and they share all their memories in this song (madhuri and Aishwarya) about Devdas (Shahrukh Khan)
