The Monster was destroyed after being hit from behind by someone driving and texting. Sad to see it go and lucky to be alive, especially when the person was driving over 50mph when they hit me (I was not stopped luckily and riding at lower speed to stop for a red light). @ Oleksiy This is my first Ducati. No differences between the 2018 and 19 models other than a limited edition one including some components. I love the Monster 821. I also added the Ducati quickshifter and it makes the bike so much more fun to ride. My only gripes are that there is limited adjustment to the suspension and the heat from engine in hot days. Otherwise, it handles really well, has plenty power, the brakes are really good, looks great!

Unfortunately a month ago I was hit from behind by a car (driver texting!!) and going over 60 mph!! My Ducati was totaled. Very upsetting and miss it. It was a fantastic bike, very good handling, torque on the 821 is great and pulls beautifully. Great idea to get the Dark as you get some cool features, especially the Ducati Quick Shifter. I have decided to get another bike and ordered a Triumph Street Triple RS. I really wanted another 821 but the Triumph dealer gave me a great deal. Get the 821....You will not regret it!

Different bikes really. 790 is fantastic and was going to purchase one but the Ducati is much better looking and has more character. Subjective really. Both are great. 790 has more electronic features too out of the box. I would say 790 is precise and the 821 a bruiser!
The seat was an option...Got it from the dealer. Check the Ducati accessories site and you will find it. Got it for free when Ducati was offering $1000 towards free accessories. Great seat and comfortable...Red stitching are awesome.

Gotcha... oh man the street triple rs is a great bike dude... hope you enjoy it and have better luck on it than your 821. Ive seen a couple mods guys have done to songle headlight conversion from motodemic and wow that bike looks just as good... Let me know how it rides and compares to the 821... i may want to switch next summer lol
Just purchased a 2019 and finished the break in. How does this exhaust sound compared to the stock? The stock one cracks and pops quite a bit especially on deceleration. I like the termi but dont want to loose that.
It pops...especially on downshift and if you have a quick-shifter. It is LOUD especially without the baffles. I also prefer the look compared to stock exhaust which is too big and bulky and square. Does not fit well with the design of the bike...Euro 4 requirements.
Thank you! The mirrors are the CRG Arrow bar end mirrors. You also have to order the CRG Billet Internal Adapter kit (Make sure you get the 7/8" size for these mirrors if you have the same bike or similar).

Bought the system from my local Ducati dealer. The ECU needs to be remapped and done by the dealer. Hope this helps.

Yes it is possible...I do not so use the rear cover to give it a better look.
