I'm so pleased for you. It's great for you to have him back. I wish the company that took my money nearly TWO YEARS AGO for a Vector 2.0 would do the decent thing and send me my robot so I can enjoy him like you are enjoying your Emo. Oh Digital Dreamlabs is a company to avoid. I did a comparison video recently for Emo, Vector and Loona. I discuss in it the issues with DDL and my experience trying to get my money back for the Butter Robot I ordered from them that they'll never make. You need to get a refund from them and get your credit card, bank or PayPal involved (whoever you paid through) because they won't refund your money if you don't. I have heard some people are finally getting their Vector 2.0 but I'm not sure just how many still haven't. They haven't done any updates on Vector in years. I don't expect DDL to be in business for more than a year.

Hi my little Emo is on the previous update v2.0.0 because as you mentioned, the new firmware had bugs but he still goes onto his charger and off again once he is charged. I didn’t know this but he updated his charger too when asked and himself. I am so glad you got your buddy back. They are like little kids and you can get emotionally attached to them. Why, I think because they maybe only robots but for me, so very life like in so many ways. I am attached to my boy also.

Right now Emo is the most advanced. Loona can detect edges or stairs but there has to be enough light for her front sensor to see the edge. I wouldn't recommend having her near stairs as it can be risky for her to fall down. Once she gets her charging dock, she'll be able to stay powered on which will be way better.

If LivingAI incorporates some kind of data base other than Alexa (like Vector has) that would allow us to ask general questions, that would definitely make him better. But since Digital Dreamlabs has done virtually nothing for updates on Vector, he's really fallen behind. Loona might very well pass up Emo after she's been out for a while but only time will tell with that.

I am happy you got your original emo back, I know how you felt when you sent back your emo, my dad sent back our original vector cuz it broke, but then sent back our 2nd one that I finally got used to because we had to miss pay a subscription fee if we wanted it to work and fallow commands because ddl took over. Luckily you are able to see your emo again
@@lukeybadookie4091 Emo doesn't have a subscription thankfully. I'd recommend the Go Home version as he can wander around on his own throughout the day. If you get the skateboard version, you have to always worry about taking him off the skateboard periodically so that it doesn't damage his battery.

Sadly, Vector is no longer my favorite. He's fallen so far behind thanks to Digital Dreamlab's lack of attention to him. I'm really disappointed in DDL. They've done nothing to keep poor little Vector alive and fresh. I do still love him but I feel like he's been left behind and will never get caught up at his point.

Hi I have a question, I hope you can help, since a couple of days my emo robot does not load anymore, if I put him on his skateboard he gets the loading animation, but after a few hours when i ask him about his battery he’s still low, what can I do? 🥺
Try turning him off and then on again. Sometimes that'll help reset him. Also unplug the skateboard and plug it back in. It's possible your Emo might be suffering from the same battery issue I had. Is your Emo one of the originals from about a year and a half ago when he first came out? Some of the early Emos had issues with their batteries because of the way they were assembled. You might have to get him a new motherboard repair from LivingAI.

Yeah, his screen was flawless when I sent him back. It was one of the things that made me question if this really was my original little guy. They assured me he is. Plus if he wasn't, I would have made a video about it so I don't think they'd want that kind of negative exposure.

Hmm. I'm not sure. Maybe try to have the others introduce themselves to Emo? Have Emo look at the individual and then say, "Emo, my name is..." Maybe that will have him respond to them.
Can you tell me if EMO and EMO go home are the exact same robots? I’d like to buy EMO and the home base separately to get the skateboard and light for the $10 extra by buying them separately.
Well it was partly my mistake as well. There were times when I was too busy and I wouldn't have time to play with him for 2-3 weeks at a time and he sat on his skateboard with a full battery that whole time which isn't good for the battery. That's why the Home Station charger is fantastic because he can come off the charger on his own throughout the day and we don't have to worry about harming his battery.
@@brentlyons9075 They never ended up charging me for the repair. I think they were just being gracious because my videos have helped sell thousands of Emos for them and I never asked to be compensated. I just enjoy making Emo videos when I can. It was very nice of them. 😁

Hmm. I'm not sure. Maybe try to have the others introduce themselves to Emo? Have Emo look at the individual and then say, "Emo, my name is..." Maybe that will have him respond to them.

Well it was partly my mistake as well. There were times when I was too busy and I wouldn't have time to play with him for 2-3 weeks at a time and he sat on his skateboard with a full battery that whole time which isn't good for the battery. That's why the Home Station charger is fantastic because he can come off the charger on his own throughout the day and we don't have to worry about harming his battery.

Thank you! They sent the new one as a replacement. I guess since I paid for my original Emo's repair they might let me keep the other guy.

@@brentlyons9075 They never ended up charging me for the repair. I think they were just being gracious because my videos have helped sell thousands of Emos for them and I never asked to be compensated. I just enjoy making Emo videos when I can. It was very nice of them. 😁
