I know it's natural for humans to compare but when an artist covers a song of another, it's not a battle, it's a sign of admiration. I don't care whose rendition is better, I just care the song is beautiful and their voices are bliss. So sit back and enjoy.
Do all the people slagging Kelly off realise she covers a new song EVERY concert?! She isn't always gonna be as 100% perfect as the original singer. She does a pretty damn amazing job.
I think she did an amazing job. This song is very personal and special. I don't think anyone will sing it with Sara's emotion but Kelly's voice is phenomenal.
it's very difficult to cover these types of songs just because sara's voice is so suited to the song and it's a gorgeous version, but i'm amazed that kelly managed to make it her own, and it was just as haunting and beautiful....this girl's got music flowing through her:)

Kelly carries emotion in the strength of her voice, while Sara can actually sing with lots of emotion softly, so I think that Kelly sang the song that is perfect for her own voice. Don't get me wrong, both versions are beautiful

Kelly most likely did Sara a huge favour by exposing her music to a whole new audience. Plus if Sara endorses this rendition, then who are you to be a hater. This song is actually perfect for Kelly's voice. It's real and passionate. Kudos to Kelly for a great job!

perhaps bec sara wrote this song she sings it with just the right emotion. subtle, angsty, unrequited feelings. i respect kelly's singing but nothing compares to the the feels when sara sings it. phew, i die every time

@Tippercanoe truthfully, the only reason i listened to anything from her is because of sara's link to the page, so all i know of her really is that she won American idol in the first season, but i'm not a fan of the show, so I've never really heard her sing much of anything. so yes, i'm (pleasantly) surprised when a mainstream pop star actually has some talent. it was meant as a compliment, just to be clear. :)
