With drums, the music felt like the MC was dreaming of having some sort of power, wehter it be political control, financial freedom, etc.
Without drums, the music now feels like something you'll hear in the epilogue, where the MC has finally achieved said power in some way or another, and is now narrating to the audience how's it going to be for the MC before the credits roll.

I don't think I've heard this song without the faded ending.
This is basicly the way the song was originally recorded. The band and/or the producer decided to fade out later for the official release.

i don´t remember exactly where i found it, it´s been a while...
I agree with you that this version is better. This is the way the song was recorded, but you know... the producer or the record company "decided" that to fade the song in the final release.
@@DrumLess Wherever you got it from, it would have been pulled from the game files of Rock Band 3, as the songs are put in that game as stems, and almost always with the Master recordings that don't yet have the fade-outs applied to them.
