My problem with peony sunset is that the peony looks like a cabbage? I know it's hard to draw peonies but it could be too confusing . . . Maybe there is a way for Ira to create the peony like shape but with only gradient, no outline, and make that gradient similar to the original sunset color?
Hey! Yeah I realised after putting the shape into illustrator that it looked like a cabbage.... that's why I made the name of the company Peopny so you could kinda see it at least XD it was a school project, so it didn't have to be perfect

-Ira's : You made drastic changes. The organic, handrawn touch was awesome awesome awesome. But, the pink hues and the peony don't yell food. I think giving the peony (or the bg) a rather orangish hue, pretty much like the previous colour would've done the job. -Isaac's : You NAILED it. The Venue lost emphasis though. Probably should colour it a more vibrant red. -Louis' : I think the layout's great but getting rid of the gradient did, as you mentioned, did result in a loss of energy. Plus, it also makes the bottom half look pretty empty. Probably should have a (less opaque) gradient. -Kushagra's : Filling in the Cs = Cool! But the bg should've been more Cobalt bluish. That would've complemented it better cause the chrome yellow in the bg doesn't place emphasis on 'CRUNCH'. Anddddddd Awesome Haircut! Totally nailed it! XD

First off, you rule, i found you popping out of nowhere and in love with this channel. Second, for the cco i think maybe move the C a bit to prevent tangents overlaying each other. But then again you did very well
Oh my gosh, the peony sunset looks 10 million times better and more appropriate to nature-friendly healthy snacks and the name "peony sunset" which is a whole mood. A mood I like.🦋🕯️🐿️🌻🌿
The crunch logo is absolute bomb! With the gradient and the background you tottaly get the snack idea and feeling, i can see yellow packaging with that logo and pattern!

Although, I can't really see the color correlation with food/snacks, maybe it needs some more tweaking :) *MACBETH:* I feel like removing the dripping text was a smart choice, and I really liked the torn paper idea!!! I would've kept the crown and the title's position as it was, I think it created a lot more tension. *E-Ruche:* I think both versions work just fine! Yours is a lot cleaner to the eye, but I feel like Louis' had more visual strength. *Crunch:* It seems to me like there could be some changes with the positioning of the letters to give more emphasis to the "crunch" concept. PS: I still wanna send you something but I can't really decide what to send ahhhhh I'm shy D: jajajajajaj

If you use a handwritten type maybe try the opentype features. Most handwritten fonts have alternate letters, which leads to an even more organic feel to the font.
i love watching YGR! there were a couple videos a while ago in which you would show some designs that you thought didn't need any changes and talk about their qualities. i thought that was very helpful, would you consider doing it again? you look great with the new haircut btw

I think you should add an option for inbetween in the polls, cuz' some of the things you add are really good but some are better left as they were in the original project (:
Pertaining to that MC Beth logo/illustration, Zim I think that you could of made minor touches, for example, adding the torn paper effect to the crown alone and also, adjusting the position of the white typography at the base. The red typography gave a nice contrast of colors, which added to the visual effect. Another great addition were the blood stain/pattern you added at the back... GREAT JOB otherwise!! Blessings man!

Louis' logo on that design is awfully close if not the same to a very established surf brand Al Merrick - Channel Islands. I'd recommend him to change it to something else.
Am I the only one who still doesn't really know what "kutchered" means. I think Zimri does really well on most of them but I never know or if other people know if they're voting indicating their actual feelings. Macbeth'd the beth or killed the king? Like what does that really mean. Which one is made it better or worse. It's really frustrating. I know Zimri's silliness is part of his brand but too many times it gets in the way of the video and it's intended effect.

Thats why you sketch things out and try to simplify it instead of tracing it from a photo.

I think the crunch logo looks like Run H brand or something, the moment you put color to those Pacmans they stand out to me not like letters.

The Crunch logo felt too pointy. The way the tips of the Cs went above the next letter in the reduced version was too messy and spiky for me

Aaron D kutchered means made it better. And although killed it is used in a positive connotation in slang, zimri uses it in a negative connotation.
